We sold our home and business in the UK in 2017, taking early retirement, and packed up our motorhome to go travelling throughout Europe. Having toured Spain we found ourselves, on the way home, staying in Aguilas and we fell in love with this small typically Spanish town. We then bought our first property in Spain in 2019 in the countryside near Almendricos, and opened up a holiday rental business to help support our new lives here. In January 2022 we purchased the apartment in Aguilas to use solely as a holiday rental and in doing so allow others to come and stay and enjoy all that we love about this vibrant and up and coming area on Spain’s Costa Calida.
