It is also a few minutes away from all major attractions of Taormina "Isola Bella" (4 km), the Alcantara Gorges (6 km), Etna (45 km) and only 2 km from the highway. A few meters from Villa Calipso there is a local bus stop for the city of Taormina and the beaches.

Tips and activities. The superb location allows easy access to all major tourist destinations in Sicily. The climate of the area makes it particularly attractive in the months of May-June and September-November. In June there is, among other activities, the Taormina Film Festival. The excellent organization of Villa Calypso, and services make this a particularly attractive place for young couples with children. Villa Calipso is suitable even during the winter period, when visiting Sicily is an amazing experience. The house is located 45 minute to Linguaglossa ski center; skiing on the Vulcano is an unforgettable adventure. The best period for skiing is December to March.
