We are Sue and Mark and we have had our apartment for 9 years and we love living near Charlestown. We pride ourselves on making our apartment a clean and comfortable home-from-home for our guests with lots of little extra touches to make their stay a memorable one.

I have run my holiday cottage for over 10 years now and enjoy providing guests with the little extras that ensure they have a great holiday. I live next door to The Croft so am on hand if guests need any help but the cottage is very private with its own terrace and garden.

I was first drawn to the area because of its vibrant community and the convenience it offers — from local cafes and shops to quick transport links into central London, everything you need is just a stroll away. What I love most about my property is the balance it offers between bustling city life and the tranquil, homely feel inside the apartment. It’s my little oasis in the heart of Acton, featuring a sunlit terrace where I often enjoy my morning coffee or unwind in the evening. I have owned and rented two properties through this website for many years and the properties have proved very popular. The properties are second homes and are treated and furnished as such, but with an eye to being practical for our guests, so that they can enjoy their holiday with some home comforts, like DVDs and CDs. Central to the provision of a great holiday is a great local representative and we are fortunate to have two excellent local property managers. You always have access to the owner by email in any event. All emails are notified to me by text message through the system and I try to respond as soon as I reasonably can. This means a more prompt reply is usually provided than it would be if you were booking with a large company. We are not renting the properties to build a big business, but to cover expenses, which is more difficult to achieve than most people imagine. I am a lawyer and work rather long hours, but I am usually able to respond to emails quickly, albeit often late in the day. I have done my best to provide all the information you need on the website, so do try to look for an answer there before asking a question. Don't forget that people make bookings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so if in doubt reserve the dates you want (without obligation), and ask a question when making your booking reservation. This gives you a day or so to sort out flights and get answers to any questions you could not find answers to on the website.

We have owned and run this business since 1995,which comprise of the village pub,shop + post office together with our holiday cottages.We also farm 170 acres with sheep.All of this was first purchased by my Grandfather in 1937 and has been run by the family ever since.

We had many happy years in this magnificent place until working conditions obliged us to move to Malaga. Dedicated to Holidays rentals since 2007,when the pool was finally built, all life being dedicated to tourist industry, as well knowing that without improvement and good quality to satisfy our costumers, there is no way to stay in the market, now trying with this site, but as well I have my own channel sales.
