About Clickstay
Clickstay is a website for holiday rentals. We offer the same properties as Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo but for less. We are a low cost booking platform and do not charge you service fees or owners high commissions. These savings mean you are unlikely to find the same rentals for less elsewhere.
Our journey
Clickstay is one of the original and trusted direct bookings holiday rental sites, saving you money by eliminating booking and service fees for almost all our properties*. Our goal is to create the world's best and cheapest holiday rentals site, connecting guests and owners while offering a secure, user-friendly payment system.
Established and evolving
Starting as Villarenters in 2003, we led the way with secure online payments. In 2014, we became Clickstay, expanding beyond villas. We're now a trusted UK platform with hundreds of thousands happy holiday makers but we're not stopping there.
Challenging the status quo
We believe the existing model from Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo is broken: they control communication, squeeze owners and charge over the top guest service fees which can increase the cost by as much as 25%. Clickstay makes it easy to compare prices and read past reviews for the same listing on Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo.
Embracing change
We want to make it as easy as possible for guests and owners to find each other, get in touch and book. And all whilst getting rid of guest service fees - making holidays cheaper and giving owners their fair share.
The best direct bookings site
We've relaunched as 100% direct bookings: you book directly with owners and agents with no service fees. Our secure payment system and clear booking contract means both parties can be confident of a great experience.
* A few of our of our legacy properties have a renter service fee. They're as wonderful as our other holiday rentals but are using our legacy payment system. We're trying to migrate them over to our better direct payments system.
