Step back in time with a trip to Pompeii. When Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, it left behind some haunting ruins which you can still walk around today. Plan your route for a historic day out in the car from Naples Airport, less than half an hour away.

Miseno is a quiet place to stay, not far from Naples. It's most famous for the Capo Miseno, the headland that pinpoints the north-westerly tip of the Bay of Naples. Take in the sea views which you can get to in under an hour from Naples Airport.
