The Costa Tropical gets its name from its exceptionally warm climate. There is no real winter to speak of, unless you drive up into the Sierra Nevada mountains, so the Costa Tropical makes the perfect winter sun holiday destination. It takes just under an hour to drive to the alluring city of Granada, which attracts bohemian types and culture vultures a like.
