1. Corte Inglés Gourmet Experience Gran Vía

Located on the ninth floor of the Corte Inglés department store, this outdoor terrace offers iconic views of the famous Schweppes sign. Fuel up in the Gourmet Experience food stalls before heading out to enjoy the views with some Spanish booze. 

2. Circulo de Bellas Artes

This modern rooftop is yours to survey for just a €4 entry fee. Enjoy the two bars as you recline on the cushty seats with a cocktail. A trendy rooftop bar that offers what might be the best views of the Metropolis Building on Gran Vía. Look beneath the metropolitan skyline for an unforgettable view of the leafy Retiro park. 

3. Mercado San Anton

Parooze the San Anto market in the fashionable Chueca district, before heading up to this delightful roof terrace. A great open-air bar to take your tapas experience to the next level, quite literally. 

4. El Viajero

This restaurant stroke rooftop bar is smaller and much more intimate than some of its rivals. However, what it lacks in size it makes up for in character and its magical views of the city. Treat yourselves to a slap-up meal in the romantic restaurant below, before heading up to enjoy the cocktails and nibbles available in its sister rooftop bar. 

5. Ginkgo Restaraunt & Sky Bar

Anywhere with 'Sky Bar' in the name has got to have a good view, right? You're absolutely right. Ginkgo Restaraunt & Sky Bar is a hangout to set up above its parent hotel. Ring ahead for rooftop drinks and dinner, the ideal place to cool down in the summer and eat up year-round.

Looking to impress? A rooftop bar and restaurant sat on top of a hotel, with a captivating view of the beautiful Plaza de Santa Ana. A perfect spot for wooing on a romantic city break or rubbing shoulders with some of Madrid's most glamourous celebrities.
