Menorca is well known for being one of the most popular holiday resorts in Spain and one of its biggest pulls is of course, its fantastic weather. With the summer months being unsurprisingly the hottest, temperatures rise to a scorching 29°C, with the lows still being a ‘let’s sunbath’ temperature of 21°C.
January and February are easily the coldest months, able to drop to 8°C on average, and barely climbing above 14°C on a good day.
All that said, Menorca weather isn’t entirely bad for out of season sun. September and October can both reach average temperatures of 23-26°C, whilst the lows of roughly 16-19°C are not exactly freezing either!
If it’s the sea and surf opportunities you’re after however, than August is the perfect time to go, as the sea reaches a delightful temperature of 26°C!
As for rainfall, November is easily the wettest month and can see a deluge of approximately 88mm of rain!
When it comes to the wonderful Balearic Islands and the hidden gems to be found there, Menorca is one of the most rewarding to visit. Boasting great weather, fun activities and lovely beaches, it truly is one of the best places for a family holiday.
