The souks of Marrakech seem endless and can be overwhelming, so here we've compiled a list of our top things to buy in Marrakech. Just make sure you haggle with gusto! The market stall owners of Marrakech are persistent and will drive a hard bargain - but you mustn't accept anything without bringing the price down (try by half!).  

 

1. Rugs

Berber rugs have lots of different weaves because there are over 40 tribes in Morocco each making their own style of carpet with unique embroidery.

2. Lamps

Moroccan lamps can be bought in the UK but they are very expensive! Cheap Moroccan lamps can be bought in the souks, but make sure they are wrapped up well for the journey home.
