Villa Kalandia is situated in a residential area. The private pool is set amongst a colourful and mature fenced in garden. Local tavernas and local shops are within walking distance.

There are 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 double and 1 twin; a double futon bed in the lounge area and a single folding bed in the twin room (with option to move). Each room has access to a balcony via patio doors. Hair dryers are provided in all bedrooms.
The master bedroom has en-suite facilities. There is a family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom.
The ground floor is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen that includes a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.
The living area has a dining table which extends to seat 12 people. There is a lounge suite, TV with android viewing (UK channels), DVD and CD/Radio.
FREE child facilities include cot, high chair, two stair safety gates, cot linen, infant toilet seat, cutlery and plastic cups and plates
The villa is fully air conditioned for the comfort of our guests during the summer months, converting to a heating system during the cooler season, complemented by an open log fire. Additionally, ceiling fans are installed in all rooms.
The colourful, mature garden is fenced in and consists of a beautiful pool that is bathed in sunshine all day and is surrounded by a terrace containing sun beds, tables, parasols and BBQ. After watching a beautiful sunset, the garden and pool are fully lit for a romantic evening.
The Villa is non-smoking, although ashtrays are provided for guests wishing to smoke outside.
Linen, house and pool towels are included. The pool is cleaned twice weekly to ensure safe bathing.
There is no preferred changeover day.
Arrival and departure times are 4pm and 10am respectively. However, should no other guests be arriving or leaving the Villa on your dates, then the times would be flexible at no additional cost. We will confirm these details closer to your holiday.
We recommend car hire, or alternatively, the local taxi firm that we recommend are always available to take you to the shops, beach, restaurants or local attractions. They will collect very promptly from the villa or your choice of venue. They are also bookable in advance. There is a timetabled bus service into Paphos which runs approximately every two hours.
Emba and its surrounding area.
The villa is situated in a small close in a residential area in the village of Emba.
The local supermarket stocks a full range of products, from local produce to Heinz Beans! Adjacent to the supermarket are several food outlets selling traditional Cypriot food, fresh fish and a bakery. There are local Tavernas within walking distance. The surrounding villages of Lempa, Chlorakas and Kissonerga also have a variety of local restaurants.
Coral Bay is a few minutes’ drive away. Its high street is full of bars and restaurants. It has a character of its own and is full of life. A few minutes’ drive further on, leads you to the sandy beach and water sports.
Paphos main town and harbour are in the opposite direction, where facilities are abundant. There are two contrasting areas, The Harbour - with its many restaurants or Bar Street - for club land and bars.
Places to visit and activities
The island has something to offer all ages and tastes.
The Troodos Mountains; for skiing in the winter and sightseeing and walking in the summer. There are many vineyards on the slopes where you can sample a variety of local wines and purchase at very reasonable prices.
Day excursions are plentiful - jeep safaris to Troodos or the Akamas Peninsular, day/sunset cruises, fishing trips and guided walks.
If more lively activities are preferred, jet skis, paragliding, water skiing, scuba diving. Go-karting, golf, cycling and horse riding are all close by, as well as a water park.
The established family coastal path is ideal for walking, jogging, cycling and blading.
There are many historic places to visit - The Mosaics, Tombs of the Kings, Baths of Aphrodite and the Kykko Monastery, just to name a few.
