Our property was completed over many years with a great deal of work. Hi, we are Hans and Natasja, the proud owners of Villa Kalithea Corfu! We bought this beautiful spot in 2020 after we had spend many years going on holiday to our favorite Greek Island. When arriving for the first time to Villa Kalithea we immediately fell in love with it! Its spectacular view over the Ionian See and Corfu Bay is priceless. Its nearness to the beach and restaurants, walking, hiking and biking possibilities are amazing. After a thorough renovation we decided to rent it out as well since we, unfortunately, are still not able to live in Greece all year long. Currently we both are still working in the hospitality industry as Senior Cabin on Board Managers at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. As such we have great eye for travellers needs and preferences. We fell in love with the beautiful island of Corfu in the eighties. In 2003 we bought a plot of land and built Gem Rosa villa. We have been renting out the villa since 2013 and added the pool in 2019. We live in the UK but have a wonderful couple that take care of the villa and our guests for us.

My husband David and I have always been regular visitors to the greek islands since our honeymoon 40 years ago. The beautiful island of Corfu and it's wonderful people kept drawing us back and it was here we decided to build our own holiday home. We loved the traditional village of Spartilas, known for it's spectacular views of the island. When we first visited our plot of land, a host of brightly coloured butterflies covered the vegetation. They still visit the gardens today and the villa takes its name from them- 'petalutha' is the greek word for butterfly. The views from the land took our breath away and we knew we had found the perfect location for our build. Over the next year we designed our villa to maximise the views from all rooms and terraces. It was an exciting task. We have been enjoying holidays at the villa with our friends and family for over ten years. As it is our own personal home, we have equipped it very well and provide more than most rental properties. We have made many friends on the island and have enjoyed their hospitality. You will be assured of a warm welcome from the Corfiot people.
