About
My name is Jacquilene, I am originally from the UK. I retired from the hustle and bustle of London in 2006 and decided to run a guest house in this lovely quaint village called Olonzac.
It is a warm and welcoming village and the surrounding area offers something for everyone.
Why this location?
The house was named Maison De la Botte, because the little road called rue de botte is in a shape of a boot. I chose this particular region to buy this property as it boasts a high number of days of sunshine per year, yet is very accessible via Carcassonne airport. The location off the Minervois offers stunning scenery and is nestled between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
By offering the best in French village life, Maison de la Botte is tucked away in the centre of Olonzac with glorious gardens, sun terrace, indoor pool and even a games room complete with a billiards table, table tennis, children's toys, Xbox games console and Nintendo Wi. We also have TVs with satellite programmes from UK and other countries. You can choose between enjoying the tranquility and privacy of the house or take a step outside into the heart of village life, bakers, cafés, parks, tennis club, restaurants and all situated in the stunning region Minervois. Why not go and enjoy the hustle and bustle of market day which surrounds Olonzac on Tuesdays.
