We spent a week in the house with the kids and toured Slovenia with a rented car. The location of the villa is great as it’s easy to get everywhere from that central spot. Also, the area is beautiful for touring around and spending some peaceful & pleasant time. The vegetables garden was great and the kids enjoyed very much using them for fetching salads every day. Igor & Natasha were not around but their parents received us the night we came, they showed us around & explained everything we needed. They are lovely people and speak good English. We needed to turn the heat during our stay and through skype we contacted Igor that solved the problem and was really helpful. The internet connection was a bit slow (we needed to work on the evenings…) I think this can be improved, but on the other hand if it’s only for e-mail connection or minimal use, it can be enough. In summery the house was great, very comfortable, clean & very well equipped for a long stay. I’m sure that if we return to Slovenia (there is still a lot to see in this beautiful country) we will rent the apple tree villa again.

Dear Igor, We would like to express our thanks for the wonderful vacation in your lovely wine house estate - Hisa Vina. The house and the surrounding nature were stunning - even better than we thought from the photos. We were really impressed about the quality of the house, furnishings and the comprehensiveness of all kind of household goods there. I fully agree with the expression "lovingly renovated" in your web site. This luxury property has a feeling of old romantic wine house estate but with all modern equipments and facilities. The house was perfect for accommodation of two families as in our case (altogether 4 adults and 6 kids). The place is also very child/teenage friendly - our kids loved the place. We would like to thank for your honesty and accuracy of the information you gave us. We also appreciated very helpful extra information you gave us e.g. suggestion for restaurants, wine tasting, maps for travelling and hiking etc. The help and guidance from Natasha and Lea was perfect. Since Slovenia is a very small country this property served us nicely as a home base during our trips around the country. The highways are in excellent condition and therefore travelling by car is easy. Personally, I have never seen so much about one country during one trip. This property is a delightful cottage situated in a quiet yet accessable area of Slovenia. You will find everything you need within close proximity and yet the whole experience is wonderfully rural. Slovenia is a truly fascinating and beautiful country - almost anyone, regardless of taste, will find something here: everything you could wish to visit is within a couple of hours drive of the cottage. If you are prepared to strike out on foot, however, there is plenty to occupy you within a five or ten mile radius. You'll find the owners, Igor, Natasa and their family, helpful, polite and unobtrusive. They'll go out of their way to help but will not smother you with unwanted attention. Their cottage is clean, well-equipped and spacious. Overall, this is a highly recommended holiday let with a perfect location in a truly beautiful country.

We were impressed by the thought that had gone into providing everything you could need except some clothes to wear and some food to put in the fridge. not only that ive been there-i lived there for a couple of years. but ofcourse the house didnt look so great as now.I can only say waaaaauuu, beutiful, but I can recommend it to anyone who wants to relax, enjoy in beutiful nature,...great...i would like to live there now, not then...:)
