The property was just as described and provided everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and the price was good.

I have stayed at this property on 6 occasions over the last few years (my last in March/April 2015) and for each time i look forward to the visit. The house is lovely and peaceful in a beautiful & well kept private estate, the gardens, pools and sea views are outstanding. A family of 5 is comfortably accommodated in the house which has all the mod-cons to serve your needs. Food shopping is either a short 10 minute walk or if you want larger supermarkets then a few minutes by car into town. The town centre has 2 large supermarkets (one a Lidl) and a lovely little shopping centre with clothes shops, restaurants and cafes etc. Locally, there are a few small bars and restaurants all within a 10 minute walk from the house. If you are able bodied enough then the the coastal cliff footpath to the rear of the estate takes you down to the sea & beach in 20 minutes, alternatively it's accessed by car in perhaps 5 minutes. The local protected 'national park' area with the lighthouse and gun en-placements from the war and the new cliff-edge viewing platform is a pleasant 20-30 minutes walk and delivers outstanding panoramic views. Maria the property owner is very friendly and helpful and lives on the estate with her family, so if you do have any concerns she is readily available to help. Highly recommended, cant wait to get back again.

We have just returned from Gran Vista after a 10 day visit. The trip was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The villa is located in a lovely area and the grounds and pool areas were well looked after. We also made good use of the tennis courts. The accommodation was very well looked after and met our needs perfectly with enough room inside and a nice terrace outside. We also loved our daily trip to Carabassi beach where there was every option from lounging quietly in the sun to a wide range of water sport activity. The walk to the beach was a 20 minute stroll down quite a steep hill, no problem for us but if you had small children you might want to take the road train that went past us every day. Communication from the owners was very good and helpful throughout. Highly recommended

5 adults and two 15 month toddlers stayed here for 2 weeks in September and we had a great time. The villa is very well located in the complex halfway between the pool (1 minute walk) and the main entrance (1 minute walk). There is a well stocked shop 30 second walk from the villa and several small supermarkets 5 minute walk including a British supermarket where we purchased fresh milk for our babies as most milk in Spain is UHT. The villa is child safe (after we moved a few ornaments out of reach) including a stairgate, high chair and cot. All floors and walls are tiled so spills and damage is not possible. The beach is possible to walk down to but is very steep and I wouldnt recommend the walk back, so a car would be useful and is also necessary to visit the big supermarkets, 5 minute drive. Alicante is a 20 minute drive and I would recommend the restaurants along the esplanade as being both good and value for money. Maria, the owner, is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, so just ask if you need anything. We would definitely return.

Firstly, Maria the owner is brilliant. I would recommend booking this property on that fact alone! So helpful and extremely friendly - nothing is too much trouble. The welcome pack touch in the kitchen was much appreciated. The property lived up to expectations - very spacious. Sofas were comfortable and plenty of space to lounge around. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, etc. Free wifi and use of Internet was an unexpected bonus as were flat screen tvs in lounge and two main bedrooms! Just a note for the Brits who are used to American style mattresses the beds are typically hard! The 2 main bedrooms are spacious - the bunk bed room is small but an adult 53 and a very tall 15 yr old slept in here with no problems (in fact these mattresses are softer than the rest!). The property is situated in a lovely area - very short walk to the pools and shop/cafe where hot bread can be purchased each morning.The grounds are beautiful - well tended and great to relax in. In fact the whole complex is beautiful. Gran Alacant is just 10 mins away from the airport but its not on the flight path so no aircraft noise. Its so easy to get to places to visit from this base. Would we return to this property - absolutely! I have no hesitation in recommending this to family and friends.
