Amazing get away. The village of Amaliapolis is very friendly and family oriented. If you’re looking for a getaway to a quiet beach with great food this is your spot. Our stay at the villa was great. Has everything we needed and only 5 minute walk to the beach.

Villa Christina Amaliapolis 

Lovely villa set in olive groves-peaceful but not far from pretty beach.Suitable for swimming especially early morning! beach bars have a great atmosphere and always clean.Locals very friendly and sea front is beautiful. Not too crowded and quite sophisticated. A variety of places to eat nearby serving local delicacies and fresh fish. Wine an acquired taste!!
Car useful for touring the area -plenty of interesting places and easy driving.Petrol station conveniently placed just up the road and freindly service.
Villa equipped with information sheets and suggestions for trips.We found it very useful.
Villa is well maintained with regular visits from cleaner and gardener.
Ideal holiday for us adults but would also be suitable for families with young or teenage children. We cant wait to visit again !

The house was spotless on our arrival, it is set off the quiet road into the village about 50m down a dirt track which wasnt a problem even for our rental car. There is a view from the 2nd floor terrace/balcony across the village rooftops out into the gulf & most days a nice breeze so great for evenings cool downs with a g& t after a day on the beach the village itself is a 3 min walk to a small bridge where left & a further 2 mins take you to shops (basic but enough) & a few tavernas or right & a further 2 mins takes you to the small beach with its 2 well appointed but not noisy bars which cater for your beach needs with sun beds drinks & snacks.
Night time in Amaliapolis doesnt really happen much before 9:30 & during our 2 weeks we ate at most tavernas at least twice (perhaps limited choices but great fresh food). Out & about the local towns, city (Volos), & small villages are all very rural but equally charming. One word of warning would be that we never saw another English person the whole time, so if you go expecting to find a copy of the sun a pint of carling & a full english breakfast you will be sadly dissapointed. On the other hand if you want to interact & perhaps try out your dodgy Greek I cant imagine a nicer place to go, everyone we met was friendly & always eager to help. The UK we came back to seemed a far more hectic place.....

My friends and I are young college students, and absolutely loved our weekend trip to Amaliapolis, Greece. Christina is extremely helpful, as well as the housekeeper, and everyone in the village is extremely friendly and nice. We were given detailed instructions upon arrival at Volos Airport, and had the best taxi driver Christos take us to the villa.

The location is great for the price, and there is a nice strip of sandy beach within 10 minutes walking distance from the villa. Also, there are small bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores and a fruit shop where we were able to get fresh and delicious food. The people in the village mostly speak Greek, and it is a cash based town, but everyone is friendly and makes an effort to communicate no matter the level of English spoken.

Our trip went extremely smoothly, and everybody made an extra effort to make sure we had the best time possible. 
I would recommend this location to anyone visiting Greece. If you have the chance to rent a car, that may be helpful in taking day trips to nearby villages and landmarks.

Apartment with great views for up to 8 people in seaside village

I stayed in Amaliapolis at Villa Christina and I have to say it was one of my favorite vacations thus far. Having never heard of the town, my friends and I decided to take on an adventure and couldnt have been more pleased with our stay. The village is gorgeous, quiet, and the people are wonderful.  So much fun! The villa was fantastic! Well kept and we had a gorgeous view of the ocean and town from our balcony. It was spacious and Christina the owner was amazing and answered all of our questions prior to our stay. She arranged a cab for us as well. Everything about this village and villa is perfect: the food, people, beaches, prices...I definitely recommend everyone to stay here! Perfect for families, friends, and even college students like us.

In Amaliapolis kann man sehr schön Urlaub machen. der Ort ist klein, hat aber nette Tavernen zu bieten und einen kleinen, sauberen Strand &#040weitere, größere Strände sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen&#041. Das schöne, große Haus ist nah am Ort in ruhiger Lage. Man kommt zu Fuß schnell ans Wasser. Alles ist sehr sauber und im Garten sitzt man lauschig unter Olivenbäumen. Die Austattung ist gut, die Abwicklung und Wegbeschreibung vorbildlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Viele Ausflugsziele sind gut zu erreichen, etwa Meteora, Delphi, der Pilion. Ich würde das Haus jederzeit meinen Freunden weiterempfehlen. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en août dans cette maison d&#039Amaliapolis, nous étions deux famillles. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande terrasse qui relie les deux appartements où il ne faisait jamais trop chaud, la proximité de la plage qui est peu fréquentée en semaine et l&#039authenticité du village.
