Algarve Villa Rentals

Our party was 2 adults and 8 'children' aged 19 to 21, the villa was perfect for us. It is in an ideal position, near the charming town of Anghiari and close enough to many major cities - we had a wonderful time in Florence and at the Feast of the Saracens and Antique Fair in Arezzo. The villa has a lovely atmosphere, the pool is glorious and Sue is the perfect host, a mine of useful information.

A great villa to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Eastern Tuscany. The area is a hidden gem, not totally over-run by tourists, but there is a wealth of beautiful local countryside and all the famous places are in close reach. Also an amazing assorment of great places to eat locally.
The villa itself is clean and tidy with all the necessary needs for the traveller. A great bonus is the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area which is unusual with these type of farmhouse/villa places which often only have small rooms. It is a great place to socialise if you are not all crowded round the pool!
Sue Hill is a great host - welcoming and very obliging.

We stayed here in July, our family of 5 and my sister-in-law's family of 4. It was the perfect size for 2 families. The villa is lovely, if a little dated (the photos are better than the real thing, which is just a little more 'lived in' than you might expect). The layout of the villa is great, 4 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. An excellent open plan living area, but the highlight is the terrace outside the kitchen, and the pool. Both are just stunning. The pool is a great size, with an incredible view. Another highlight was the local town, Anghiari - we went there many times for dinner, lunch and the weekly markets. A really gorgeous town with hardly any tourists, great restaurants (and gelato). We made a day trip to Siena which took about 90 mins. We would highly recommend this villa and stay there again.

This villa is situated in the Tuscan hills overlooking a beautiful reservoir to the right and rolling hills up the valley to the left. The building is a converted farmhouse with ample room and a great open plan living, dining, kitchen area which is perfect for large groups. A balance of dole and twin rooms make it perfect for large numbers. Pool area had lovely loungers and offered similar views. 1 terrace by the pool is covered with a stunning floral pagoda. Another is uncovered on the bottom terrace for a sunnier mealtime. Walk down to the lake is fairly steep but worth the reward; fresh water swimming and a manmade waterfall make for a great afternoon activity. 
I'd recommend this building to anyone for families, large younger groups and anyone else looking for a Tuscan retreat. Sue Hill, the owner, is more than helpful and always on hand to smooth over any cracks.

We spent an amazing 2 weeks at the Casa from mid to end of June. We traveled with our 3 adult kids, my parents and their aid. The house was able to accommodate all of us comfortably. The house is located in a remote part of Tuscany where life is simple and much of the commerce involves farming. It's close to a magnificent medieval city, Anghiari. Sue Hill, who owns the house and lives in a cottage below the house, is absolutely charming and we loved getting to know her. We spent many an evening on her porch, sipping a good wine, looking out at the lake and the rolling hills and the hay bales, talking history, politics and family. Through Sue we contacted by Laura and Toni (the chef and her sidekick) who came over and cooked several wonderful meals for us! Oh, how I long for Laura's panne cote (I think that's what it was called) and Charlie's chocolate cake --- oh, and yes, the pasta too!! The meals were fabulous --- and they cleaned up too! All in all, it was a vacation we will never forget. We explored lots of the local towns and villages (many not too touristy), hung out in the hills, got a good feel for the people and the culture. It was wonderful.

I have been coming to Casa Singerna for six years now, usually off season. I've looked at many other options, even in other countries, but there has never been a more wonderful place to come so I always return to Singerna. I love being off the beaten tourist path, enjoy fantastic food in local restaurants, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the hills. We stayed at Casa Singerna during the winter months and completely fell in love with it all over again (as we had stayed there in a previous year). The location is 10 minutes from anghiari, a medieval village, 15 minutes from Caprese Michelangelo, and one hour from Florence. The villa itself is so charming with 5 bedrooms all with beamed ceilings, 3 great bathrooms and a large living/dining room with a view to die for!
We were so happy to have Sue, the owner, close by , as she was a great source of information and an absolute delight to be with.
The swim pool and pergola overlook the valley and is surrounded with lavender, sage, rosemary and cypress trees. 
We were so lucky to have found this wonderful villa and felt we could have lived there for the rest of our lives. We highly recommend this enchanting Tuscan villa.

Thank you for your e mail.   We found the villa to exceed our expectations and could rave on about it forever but here are what we found important to us 
The location was brilliant just a short walk from the nightlife
The cleanliness of the villa and pool was second to none
The way our transfers were very smooth with no worries 
The only thing I would complain about is that your photos online do not do the villa justice it was far better.

I would just like to thank you for recommending villa Emilie it was absolutely beautiful, and in  a perfect location. We took my mum who is 81, she even went in the pool it was so lovely. Only one problem you need  new photos of the villa as the ones you show do not do it justice. Once again thank you so much.
