I should have made clear in my previous review that Villa Los Olivos certainly is a good value for money. It is priced lower than villas of comparable size and quality in the coastal towns. So, the issues of distance, access road, etc. are offset by a good price ... plus the other appealing features I mentioned in the previous review: especially the stunning location and views (extending to Africa on a reasonably clear daysee photo).

Los Olivos is set on the hillside above the town of Caseres and the villa has stunning views of the mountains and the coastline can be seen in the distance. Whilst it was very hot and sunny during our stay, the height means that there us always a breeze, which makes the heat bearable. Air conditioning in the bedrooms makes for pleasant sleeping conditions. The mountain track to the villa is steep, but can be negotiated in safety with careful driving. The owners Olga & Alex made us very welcome and we all enjoyed our stay at Villa Los Olivos, with the children spending most the time in the excellent pool. Good food shops are at Estepona, some kilometres away on the coast, and it is therefore wise to stock up well on each trip.

My expectations were exceeded in every respect. I was overwhelmed by both the beauty, tranquility, spectacular views & Olga & Sachas hospitality. Reading other reviews before I booked, I was unsure I wanted the owners of the property fussing over me, I thought it would be intrusive. I was so wrong, Olga apart from being a beautiful person only wants to make everyones stay perfect. If youd like them to cook for you they will, if you want company venture a few hundred feet to the infinity pool or the spa facilities. If you want total privacy youve got it....I could quite easily not have seen another sole for the whole week...! One thing I must urge you to try are the treatments, I had several massage & facial treatments in a treatment area that overlooks the mountains & the tropical gardens...I could just go on & on about how perfect it all was..go & stay and see for yourself x

We just loved Casa Caceres but appreciate that anyone staying here must enjoy living in the centre of a town. The house met our high expectations and any query was met and dealt with immediately by the manager. We would certainly return in the future if possible.

This was a perfect location to relax and unwind. The host was attentive, yet discrete and went to great lengths to ensure our needs were met. The stone finca was in a wonderful position, high up in the montains overlooking spectacular scenery. There were some lovely touches champagne and strawberries, flowers and a fruit bowl. The pool and spa was magnificent, so much so that we didnt venture out far during the week there. For people looking for tranquility away from noise and haste, this is the place to be. We will be back!

A truly magical place offering privacy, peace and quiet, luxury and a chance to spoil yourself. A beautiful spot set high in the mountains with breathtaking views. Not too far from lovely restaurants. The decor is gorgeous! The owners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We had a fantastic time and cant wait to go back. Far exceeded our expectations, and we have high expectations!

The photos of the property do not do it justice. Los Olivos is a truly magnificent villa in the most delightful position. Very secluded and private, although the track to reach it is rather a challenging drive. We were met on ariival and the house was spotlessly clean and welcoming as was the pool. There is really very little that I would change- perhaps a dishwasher would be nice! If you want somewhere private and quiet thats off the beaten track this is the place.

Daria, the owner was excellent in helping us before we got to the villa and her mother guided us to it when we arrived in the village. The villa was lovely and had everything we (a family of 5) could have asked for. It had fabulous views and was very peaceful, ideal for a get away from it all break, but it was close enough to the main coast road to get to the main towns/beaches/attractions quickly. The only downside was the track leading up to the villa which was very tricky to negotiate for our little hire car, but I sure anyone with a more powerful one or a 4*4 and a head for heights would have no problem. It was a great holiday for us. Gordon Lindsay

We are just back from a fantastic September fortnight at Finca Gallega. This lovely finca is secluded and almost completely private, and so nice that we spent more days lazing by the pool that we had planned. It is well fitted out with everything you need, and the multiroom layout would give space and some privacy for families or friends. The booking process was easy and we were given clear directions then warmly met and shown round the finca. The location was ideal - within easy reach of Casares and Estepona, which is a nice town with shops, banks, supermarkets and beaches. Its also a good base for touring, Rhonda and Gaucin well worth a visit. As birdwatchers we chose this area because of its proximity to Natural Parks and Tarifa, but we were able to get good views of migrating birds everyday from the balcony or poolside! From the finca we saw Booted and Short-toed Eagles, Honey Buzzards, Black Kites, Osprey, Black Stork and Griffon Vultures. We would highly recommend this finca for anyone wanting a peaceful holiday.

We stayed at the finca last September and it was absolutely perfect. It exceeded all of our expectations and the accommodation was clean, new and beautifully put together. Theres so much space at this finca and the pool is a wonderful touch. All of the accommodation is light and airy and anybody who visits will be suitably impressed...we loved it. The owners are extremely hospitable and nothing was a problem...there is even a groundsman to look after the pool and it feels extremely safe. If your looking for somewhere extra special set in the hills with amazing views then this surely is the place for you...happy holidays!
