The villa is in a stunning location with views to die for from all areas. Three of us stayed there for 4 nights in July 2013. Eye, the housekeeper, is very attentive and cooked us some lovely meals and ensured the fridge was always full of chilled drinks. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Our 17-year-old son loved the pool and the kayak, which he used to head over to the beach at Than Sadet, while us adults walked over. As others have said, if you want buzzing nightlife, this is not the place for you. But if you appreciate nature and tranquillity, then youll love the villa. The butterflies in the gardens are fantastic. Yes, there are geckos in the house, but they eat the mosquitoes, so thats a win in my book. The local restaurants at Than Sadet were excellent and very cheap. We tended to eat at the beach for lunch and then have Eye cook for us in the evening. The transfer from Haad Rin is by 4x4 and is pretty bumpy as its a jungle road. If, like me, you suffer from travel sickness, you might find it challenging. Eye, the housekeeper, was great in suggesting an alternative route back to Koh Samui for us: We took the boat from the beach at Than Sadet straight to Koh Samuis Mae Nam pier, which was an excellent solution for us. She also arranged a reasonably-priced minivan on Koh Samui for our final day to take us around the island and then back to the airport. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending White Azure if youre after a peaceful get-away-from-it-all holiday in stunningly beautiful surroundings.
