Casea Alea was perfect!
It has recently been refurbished and is immaculate inside and out. The kitchen is equipped with the best pots and pans and appliances and the bedrooms are really spacious. The terrace is incredible with unrestricted views over the sea and great sunbeds, table and chairs and an outside shower to use to cool down.
We would thoroughly recommend Casa Alea if you want reasonably priced accommodation for 4 people.
I must mention the steps! There are 126 steps up to the property - we had plenty of time to count them on our epic journey up with the suitcases! But, they do get easier with each trip and if, like us, you take a friend who is as fit as a flea and enjoys walking up and down to the supermarket to get supplies, youll be laughing! The supermarket is just at the bottom of the hill and they will help you up the steps with your groceries.
Praiano is lovely - a real Italian village, not too touristy and extremely friendly. Theres a really nice restaurant called Hostelria il Pino which you can walk to and, if you play your cards right, one of the owners will take you home!
All in all, a great apartment that really met the needs of four girlfriends who wanted to enjoy the sun as well as the delights of the beautiful Amalfi Coast
