Everything about the place is perfect. Quite and a 15 minute walk to town but that doesn't matter. The cleanliness and condition of the property is a tribute to Darko and Inga. If you go, hire a boat for the day and tour round the little coves it is wonderful. I can not speak highly enough about this property.

For us, this property was perfectly located. It was so close to the sea, and there were many water-sports on offer in the bay. On arrival, we were told that the previous family had used the wifi allocation but this was not a problem as it still worked for us. The villa was very clean and the air-conditioning was brilliant particularly as Europe had a heat-wave during our stay! Would recommend to families with teenagers- Slano is great. We used the marina lots as they have a swimming pool next to the restaurant and bar.

Villa Clio is truly a wonderful find. This villa was spacious, bright and clean with everything a family with 4 teenage boys could ask for. Excellent showers, very comfortable beds, loads of towels, swim shoes, snorkels and of course the dreaded WIFI !! The location of this villa is outstanding with such close proximity to a beautiful blue sea coastline. The water is crystal clear and warm. The view from my bedroom was beautiful and truly uplifting. A wonderful place to unwind and recharge. This area is quiet and a little off the beaten track and for this reason I am loath to tell anyone about it! The village of Slano is 1.2kms away. We did not hire a car so enjoyed an easy walk each night into Slano for a meal. We also hired bikes from a local lady in Slano for the two weeks, which made food shopping easier. We used public transport for our visit to Dubronik, a 40 minute bus journey. And the rest is your adventure to unfold....

This is a lovely villa, in a fantastic location. It is literally a few steps from the sea; it was wonderful to wake to a view of the sea every morning, to have breakfast on the terrace and then to go for a swim! The villa is modern and spacious, with a delightful terrace. We cooked a few meals in the small, but well-equipped kitchen, but mostly ate in the two restaurants in Slano, which were both great, and not expensive. The area around the villa is really calm and relaxing. Slano, with its restaurants and two well-stocked supermarkets, is a few minutes drive away (on a very narrow road!), or a pleasant 10 minute stroll. Dubrovnik is a very easy drive away (less than 45 minutes) - and the multi-storey car park on the edge of the old city is straightforward to find - you hardly need to drive into Dubrovnik itself. Villa Mandy was exactly what we were looking for; somewhere by the sea, in a quiet location, but relatively near to Dubrovnik. Inga was extremely kind, friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend the villa both for families and groups of friends, and hope we will be able to return one day!

Dear Mrs. Beckett, Thank you very much for your lovely review. It was really pleasure to have the guests who left the Villa in so clean and immaculate condition, therefore I look forward to seeing you again in one of the St.Peter Villas. Best wishes, Darko

We arrived from Canada August 24/2014 and stayed until Sep 5/2014. Slano is a wonderful small town located close to some great places like Mostar, Dubrovnik and Mali Ston. The House and Property is absolutely spotless and the terrace is 15 feet to the sea. We never encountered any problems with the property. All amenities were in working order. The Owner was more than helpful to answer the most common questions upon arrival and steer us in the right direction. Booking was easy and simple. Milan, the house keeper, is more than willing to help in any form or way. We ended up having him over for supper one night and he returned the favour the next night by cooking some fish for us on the charcoal barbecue. A car rental is not a must but will make visiting the surrounding Area much easier and lets you explore more ground. We had several drives into the mountains of Montenegro and Bosnia which was incredible. This is a wonderful country which has been in the past occupied by many nations and is incredibly rich in diversity in culture and nature. Warm mediterranean climate is exchanged quickly within a half hour drive up the mountains to a more temperate environment. I will most definitely return to this property and thank Darko for a wonderful time in Croatia.

Part of our vacation ( 7days) was spent at Villa Mandy which was perfect for my family. We have a family of 6 adults and the place listed for bed space, not like many places that list sofas etc for sleeping. There were bathrooms with showers/toilets available for each room as well as another bathroom off the main living area. The villa was very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very small but had everything needed for cooking. Only thing we couldn't find was dish towels and pot holders but otherwise adequate as we didn't cook as we wanted to eat meals out- taking in local cuisine. We ate a few times at Maestral's in Slano and loved the food. We walked to the little town for shopping & the restaurants which was estimated to be a little over a mile from the villa as my husband didn't like driving on the curvy narrow roads in the big vehicle we rented. This isn't a negative though as the views from any location along the road were beautiful and walking was enjoyable. Our main objective was to have a place close to the sea, a relaxing environment and still have access to touring/excursions. Dubrovnik was about 45 minutes away-views from the wall were beautiful. We also visited Ston, Mali Ston, Orebic to take the ferry to Korcula and visited wine shops on Peljesac Pennisula. We had talked about visiting a few locations in Bosnia but decided to have a few casual days staying at the villa and renting a boat and jet skis from a local supplier. One thing we would have liked to rent which was not available or we did not find was scooters. We would definitely rent this villa again as well as recommend to friends/family. I loved the view from the patio and roof top terrace! I fell in love with Croatia and would come back in a heartbeat!!!! Helpful votes:3/3.

We stayed at this lovely villa last year and had a great time. As soon as we opened the door we were pleasantly surprise at how spacious and modern it was. It had everything we needed including washing machine, dishwasher etc. The upstairs bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and also a lovely balcony where we would love to sit and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. There is also a terrace coming off the lounge with a bbq and a downstairs bathroom. So it easily accommodates a group of people without getting under each others feet. The supermarket, which stocks everything you need is about 15 minutes walk away. As for Slano, I couldn't recommend it more. It has a very stylish resort with a lovely port and the restaurants are of a very high standard. Even though it is very smart, everyone is very relaxed and chilled out. I would thoroughly recommend going, and we look forward to our return holiday. My Response: Thank you very much for your effort and kindness to write this nice review. I am very pleased that you enjoyed your stay in Villa Leo and look forward to seeing you again on 17th July this year.

Lovely Villa Mandy and peaceful Slano! This was our second holiday in Croatia and we were not disappointed. Darko was very good to deal with, informative and helpful. The villa was perfect, better even than we had expected, spotlessly clean, contemporary and comfortable.Ideal for our family which included a young baby. The view from the terrace was really beautiful and the beach right on the doorstep. Slano is a quiet little town, but with all the amenities you will need, atm, supermarkets etc. It was easy to drive to Dubrovnik, which is very busy and interesting, we parked right by the old town and found it fascinating. There are a number of restaurants in Slano and our favourite called Mirakul was in the next little village of Osmine, we had a delicious lamb dish which had been slow cooked for 4 hours and had to be ordered 24 hours beforehand. We would love to visit again and would definitely choose Villa Mandy. Helpful votes:6/6.

Slano is just out of this world and Villa Arann is top quality and right beside the sea. It is so peaceful and yet only a short walk to the town. The Villa is in pristine condition, and has everything you could need to have a great holiday. It is ideally situated for day trips to Dubrovic and we also travelled to Bosnia which is approx. an hour and a half away driving. There are lovely restaurants in the town of Slano and the people were so friendly, particularly if you have children, they make you very welcome. I highly recommend villa Arann and Slano and can honestly say it was the best holiday I have had. Recommended for: Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Gem of a place! Just a quick note to thank you very much for the use of the Villa, it was absolutely fantastic, a more idyllic location would be harder to find, what a gem of a place. We will definitely recommend it too friends and we have already spoken about paying the place another visit later in the year. Darko was extremely helpful with information and advice when we arrived. We could not have asked for more.
