This is a lovely property, and the owners are friendly and easy to get on with, and - if an issue should arise - appeared quick to help out.
We stayed as a couple, but there is plenty of space for a party of six. One large double bedroom, and two twins, all with loads and loads of storage space.
There are no pictures of the bathrooms, but they are both fine - clean and everything works. They are on top of each other in the house layout, and therefore both the same - Toilet, sink, and a bath with a shower over it.
The garden and garden furniture are no longer quite as the pictures, but there are plenty of sunbeds and outdoor furniture generally, although it would be a tight squeeze to dine outside as a party of six - there is a dining room table that is large enough if pulled away from the wall, then six would sit around it. Dining outside is probably most comfortable for four or fewer.
One surprise on arrival is that the garden and pool are at the front of the house (I had assumed they were at the rear). This isn't really a problem and is easy to get used to, just wasn't what I was expecting!
There is a small gap in the hedge to the people next door, and likewise to the road, but people would have to be deliberately looking to see you really, especially once in the pool you are not seen (except on the off chance the neighbours come down the driveway, which happened once in 12 days I think)
The pool is 10m long, nice and deep, and keeps itself very clean - Although Andreas will appear every few days to clean it and top it up. But a quick scoop with the net each morning and it was ready for the day.
The lounge furniture is very comfortable.
The TV is in the lounge, but currently (October 21) has no "live" TV channels - I think the satellite provider changed their terms and conditions (or got found out) and so is currently not working. For us this wasn't an issue, as we had brought a laptop and an HDMI cable, and that meant we could watch Netflix etc
The garden is no longer as grassy as it looks in the pictures - we spent all of our time outside either around the pool or on the patio, but not in the garden ... although there is a table tennis table that would be good for families.
The inside of the villa looks lovely and bright in the pictures, but in reality it makes a lot of sense to keep the shutters down and keep the house cool.
There is also a rooftop terrace above the kitchen.
The location:
The villa is between Coral Bay and Peyeia.
It was about a 35 minute walk into Coral Bay and the beach there, and probably only about 25 minutes to the closest beach (in both cases, a 5 minute drive).
From Coral Bay to the villa is relatively flat, but from the villa to Peyeia is steeply uphill - we walked up that way once (!) but took the car after that.
Peyeia has some lovely taverns - we went up to Savvas Grill on our first night, which was very welcoming.
Coral Bay is geared towards the tourists a little more - restaurants and bars that do burgers and pizzas, as well as some more local style places and Indian/Japanese places as well. But Mediterranean food is so nice, we did try and find small local taverns wherever we could.
We had a lovely relaxing stay in this villa. I would recommend it to anyone.
A car is *probably* a necessity however.
All in all, an excellent place to stay and a lovely holiday
