We were a large party of 11 ,8 adults and 3 children. The villa was spacious ,very clean and there was plenty of room for everybody to do their own thing .We all loved coming together in the evening and having a bbq in the summer kitchen around the large table . Ivica and Sophia were very welcoming and happy to help in any way they could. The children loved the resident cat! . All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Villa Sofia , thank you again. We have just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Sofia. The villa exceeded our expectations, very well equipped and very clean and tidy. The pool area was brilliant as there was plenty of seating and also shady areas for those who needed it. The view of the mountains was stunning and we all found it very relaxing. The 'summer kitchen' was a great bonus as we had many barbecue meals. The owners, Ivica and Sofia, were delightful and so friendly and couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. They made excellent recommendations for places to eat and also to visit; they also arranged for us to have a meal at a local restaurant which was prepared in traditional Croatian style and was superb; so good and excellent value that we went back a second time; once we had a meat theme and once a fish theme both times we came back very full and an experience you must not miss! We have had many villa holidays but this was the best so far and we hope to return. We thank Ivica and Sofia for allowing us to use their wonderful villa.

Having never been on a villa holiday before I was really excited to stay at Villa Sofia. We arrived mid-afternoon on the Saturday and Sophia and Ivo greeted us and gave us the full tour. They were both really friendly and offered lots of advice of places to visit nearby, and as none of us drove they gave us the contact details for a local taxi company. The villa itself was absolutely stunning and incredibly clean, with fantastic views looking out over the mountains. If ever we needed anything Ivo was always on hand to answer any questions and he regularly kept us up to date over WhatsApp, which was great as we knew were in good hands the whole time we were there. Me and my partner slept in the main bedroom in the second wing and although it was a little cold at night, we were able to put the heater on to make up for the thin blankets. Other than that, absolutely everything was perfect. Especially the hot tub! We had a fantastic stay in Split and the villa was definitely the main reason why. Thank you so much to Ivo and Sophia for letting us stay, I hope we can come back to visit again!
