This is a really great villa in a good location with the best pool I've ever encountered at a holiday let. Communication was good, the owners were very flexible and the place was spotlessly clean. It's clear that in it's time, this had been a very grand property and whilst it remains a great place to holiday with everything you could ever need, it would benefit from a bit of updating in places. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to book again and I would recommend the villa to anyone.

Very spacious villa and very well equipped, had everything we needed. Lovely outside area, garden was so nice and good swimming pool. We didn't hire a car but there was a great cheap, regular bus service just at the top of our road, which took us into town and the harbour. Restaurants were about 10- 15 mins walk, though one we went to was a bit over priced for the quality of food. (Hidema) Lidl just a short walk away and was so cheap so we tended to cook at the villa on most days and sit on the lovely terrace. The only downfall was it was uphill around the area, and proved we wasn't as fit as we thought lol. But it does show this in details. The hosts were really helpful and even drove us to the airport as we had an early flight home.

Lovely villa, photos on website don’t do it justice. Loads of space, everything is there for you. Lidl at the end of the road. Restaurants and shops only a short walk, beach is 30 min walk. Uphill on way back but no problem for my children. We had a problem with air conditioning, contacted owner and she had it fixed straight away, great communication with her. We hired a car but only really used it to get shopping. Perfect holiday, could not have asked for more. Will be going back

We are regular villa renters and this was a return visit to Nerja and Frigiliana. This is a nice villa with an excellent outside living area, with a large pool and well kept garden. There are however some minor points to address. The nearest bar and restaurants are near to the beaches in Nerja which is 2.4 km from the villa, not 500 metres as described. You do have a handy bus stop that's about 500 metres from the villa, but it's a hilly walk and not suitable for those who may have mobility issues (as was the case with our group). We hired a car for the week which was a good decision based on the villa's location. The satellite TV was no good if you wanted English channels - lots of channels mostly in German and this meant we missed out on the final week of the Tokyo Olympics. As stated, these are minor points and we would recommend this villa to other tourists and would also return ourselves.

The villa hadn't been advertised at the time of our booking but when Clickstay informed us about it we were so glad we did. The villa was spotlessly clean, freshly painted and the terraces were absolutely amazing for outdoor living. We wanted somewhere for a peaceful break and the location was absolutely ideal. The villa is nestled in the hills with a private swimming pool which is un-overlooked and most welcome in the Summer sun. The villa is approached along a country lane which is in good condition and the final drive up to the property, although steep, is made of concrete and easily driven. The views are spectacular, Frigiliana is a 15 minute drive away and is extremely beautiful. The more major town with its beach is Nerja and is 20 minutes away by car. If there is one negative point to make it would be that on arrival there was no soap, washing liquid and similar items you may expect, but being a newly advertised property we could understand this and it was no hassle picking these few items up from the supermarket in town. We would definitely recommend this property it is perfectly laid out and we will definitely be back. The layout, the outside space and the overall location is perfect for a get away from it all holiday. Thank you Clickstay!

Villa was in a high location overlooking resort. Accessibility was difficult and a bit scary. Views were outstanding, Outside area was clean and spacious. Pool gorgeous. Sunbeds old and need replacing. The villa itself was clean and spacious although kitchen very small. Had all 5 English tv channels on wide screen. Only real negative were the constant presence of black flies in the main bathroom we sprayed and killed about 50 per day but could not find how they got in or where they came from. Would recommend this villa and would return.

Great as it combines a lovely villa with seclusion (just a few surrounding properties) with Nerja town centre walk-able, or better still, drive-able down some tracks.

The apartment is super comfortable, very complete in kitchen elements. Has washing machine, microwave, wifi. Excellent service at a great price. The location is perfect, one block from the beach and several supermarkets around. Super fast in responding to messages, we specify stay at the moment. Our family of four (two boys of 14 and 15) had a great week in Apartment Carolina. Marina met us when we arrived and showed us around the place and gave us some tips for the area. The apartment was as pictured in the listing and had all amenties we could desire, -sun beds for the terrace, beach parasols, cooler bags, inflatable sunbeds, sand toys, lots of towels, etc. The kitchen was well equipped, with lots of cutlery, plates, cups and glasses, but is limited in space and gets easily cramped when two teenagers decide to make something to eat, -at the same time.. The sofa in the living area is very comfortable and the Playstation was gold for the boys and saved us a lot of nagging :-). All other technical stuff like air condition, kitchen equipment, wifi, etc, was working perfectly. As described in other comments the master bedroom (very good bed!) on the second floor is partly open as there is only an iron "gate" for door. Did not matter at all for us as the other two bedrooms have normal doors, and the boys shared one on the first floor. The last bedroom, on second floor, we used as wardrobe and drying room. All bedrooms have plenty of storage rooms for clothes and luggage. The major road that passes approximately 50m behind the building is causing some traffic noise, but with the front doors closed it is no problem. The boys had the bedroom facing the road, and even with the window open they had no problem sleeping. The terrace is on the opposite side, and allthough you can hear some background traffic noise here as well, it was no issue for us. It has sun from around eight in the morning till seven in the evening, so you do not need to go anywhere if you are just in for the sun bathing. The terrace is also very private, as none of the neighbour apartments have any direct insight. Behind the building is the parking lot for the apartments, separated from the road by a hegde/trees and a high fence. So no risk for small children to tumble out into the traffic. The shared pool in the garden is nice and clean, and with an air temp. of 25-28 degrees these days in October, the water was still warm. Even the sea temperature was well above 20, but there was almost no one to see swimming. Four minutes walk to the beach and maybe eight to an ok Lidl supermarket. A car is strongly reccomended or neccessary if you want to go to Fuengirola or Benalmadena for any family activities. We had a nice autumn break and will recommend this place for family vacation.

Paradise We spent a perfect holiday week in Villa Dona Pilar in summer 2017. The villa is ideally located, because both the town of Fuengirola and the village of Mijas are a short distance away. The villa is really cozy and the décor is of a high standard. At the peaceful yard we enjoyed the pool and the Jacuzzi. We will come back again for sure!
