I wanted to have a place of my own in this area, as this region was where I spent most of my holidays since the age of twelve. After my relocation to London, short-term lettings seemed the logical way to go, for that would have enabled me to retain possession of this house in this most beautiful part of the South African coastline, and also allowed me to use my property whenever I travelled back to the Garden Route for my holidays. Plettenberg Bay can get very crowded during the holiday season (December/January), and with this in mind, I decided to purchase outside the main town. The house has a clean and airy feel to it. It is functionally furnished as I have learned that holidaymakers prefer uncluttered spaces. The unusually large open area is great for children. I am a South African full-time medical practitioner living in London.
