The Penthouse is an amazing place to stay and the best airbnb experience we have ever had.
Marcus and Heidi were incredible hosts. The facilities are perfect, particularly the heated pool, outdoor kitchen area and fresh free range eggs!
The beautiful town (Haría) is a 10 min walk away and is perfect for eating out or a drink in the center. Marcus and Heidi’s recommendations for food were completely spot on (we didn’t have a bad meal out!)
The kitchen is also spotless and well equipped, we enjoyed lunches in and ate on the private patio which gets a great amount of sun.
The living room is fully equipped for movies and music, perfect for evenings in and listening to music whilst you cook
The bed in the bedroom is outrageously comfortable with automatic electric blinds that have panoramic views of the valley and its stunning palm trees. Opening the blinds from bed was a highlight every day!
We wouldn’t change anything and if you’re thinking about booking a stay don’t hesitate!

Luxury Penthouse with fully heated pool and Air Conditioning

We had a wonderful holiday using Casita Palmera as our base to explore the island. Marcus was so helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. He helped us organise car hire and equipment for our baby. Marcus sent us a brilliant list of restaurants before we arrived which was so helpful and we had some great meals! The house is BEAUTIFUL-Marcus and Heidi have thought of every little detail from the kitchen appliances to the comfortable beds and a lovely welcome tray on arrival. So many little luxury touches like the honesty bar and all the art work which make this house so special. The heated pool is such a great asset and the grounds are so well maintained. The dogs/cats/chickens make it feel so homely and are fun to have around. We walked into Haría most nights for dinner or drinks and although quiet it is a charming town with a few really good restaurants! On the couple of nights we stayed in we lit the log burner and it was so cosy! Best Air BnB we have stayed in :)


Casita Palmera -A Beautiful Country House with Warm, Heated Pool!

We had an amazing stay in the Penthouse. It is a 5 stars because 10 doesn’t exist ;)…
All along, Marcus has been a really amazing and nice host and so is the house. He pays a real attention to have his visitors feeling like at home and was nicely flexible for our departure.
Everything has been thought and is made for our comfort, with a warm welcome, detailed instructions and a very very clean house. The place is incredible, the view is so beautiful, the area is very quiet, and there is everything we can need in the flat. We also enjoyed the terrace for our breakfasts and the eggs of the day from the chickens 😃. The garden as well, and the pool area are so beautiful. We have been in quite a lot of Airbnbs but this experience at Marcus’ place will stay in our memories. And we hope to come back one day ! Thank you so much.
PS : and Haria is a great place to stay to access all sites of interest around.

Just home from a 4 night stay. The Penthouse is a beautiful, peaceful haven with stunning views just like the photos. Marcus was a superb host - immediate responses to questions, really helpful local information and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great holiday. Every little detail was thought of including cold beers in the fridge and milk in the fridge on arrival and tea/coffee etc provided. The kitchen was very well equipped. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Highly recommend and I hope to visit again.

We had a fantastic stay at Marcus and Heidi's super cared for place. It is spacious, extremely well equipped, with very comfortable furniture and beds. There are many details in this house (i.e the honesty drinks bar, the generous drink and food items provided, The TV with access to the BBC etc, etc.) that shows that he hosts have gone an extra mile to please their guests! The outdoor space is great and the heated pool is wonderful (I so enjoyed swimming in there every morning). We felt exceptionally at home and loved having chats with Marcus, meeting the dogs and saying hi to the chickens in the morning. Haria is also a good place to be staying in; it has a lovely feel with its Saturday market and a couple of small restaurants we enjoyed going to. It is great for exploring the northern part of the island and checking out all the Cesar Manrique places, as none of them are very far. Thank you guys, for a superb stay! x

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Haria petite oasis tranquille au milieu de ce désert volcanique chaotique et impressionnant. Le lieu est un excellent départ pour visiter le nord de l’île. La maison de Marcus est une jolie maison canarienne superbement, décorée au milieu des palmiers. C’est un lien enchanteresque ! Quel plaisir de prendre le petit déjeuner dans la véranda le matin et de contempler ce joli tableau pittoresque et dépaysant. Rien ne manque sur place si ce n’est peut-être une panateria … Les bons conseils de Marcus quant aux restaurants sont très utiles …si il n’y en avait qu’un à conseiller absolument, c’est celui de la petite ville portuaire d’Orsola « La Maresia ». Tous nos remerciements et félicitations à Marcus pour ce bel endroit. Il est fort probable que nous y revenions dans un futur proche. Dommage que nous nous n’ayons pas pu faire la connaissance de Heidi la maîtresse de maison . Ce sera pour la prochaine fois, sans doute. Hasta pronto. Eliane et Gérard.

Marcus &amp; Heidi were fabulous hosts. Very thoughtful touches, super responsive, gave great recommendations- we all felt thoroughly well looked after. The house was perfect - lots of space for everyone. Great kitchen, comfy beds &amp; clean en-suites. We loved the dining area leading onto our patio &amp; we were lucky to eat our breakfasts outside each morning. Wonderful to collect fresh eggs &amp; feed the chickens. There’s a great permanent BBQ next to the large heated pool or you could use the Weber BBQ on your own patio. Great to have options. Walking through the garden down to the footpath leads you into the main part of Haria. Very beautiful. couple of nice bars &amp; restaurants. Marcus is only too happy to give his list of favourite places. Would definitely recommend.

The penthouse is a total dream- beautiful interior and such a wonderful location. Between the cosy arrival of a lit fire, the wonderful pool, views of the valley and welcome from Marcus and Heidi, we couldn’t have asked for more. We loved staying in Harìa and felt totally at ease and looked after. It is well situated for all that Lanzarote has to offer and the recommendations from Marcus were ace.

We had the most amazing stay. The house is in such a beautiful valley. The views through every window are gorgeous. The house is homely and comfortable with a well equipped, modern kitchen with lots of lovely extras - milk, bread, fresh eggs etc. The bed is so comfortable and there's a great lounge area with smart TV and log burner. The heated pool is fab, we came from a hotel where the pool was freezing, so it's a real plus. Last but certainly not least, Marcus was just the best host! So friendly and helpful with lots of great recommendations of where to go. We couldn't fault him. The place is charming, we loved meeting the dogs and cats, all so friendly. We can't recommend this highly enough. Thanks for a great stay.

A beautiful house and garden in a wonderful location. We were welcomed on a chilly January evening by a candlelit entrance and the woodburner already warming the lounge. Marcus and Heidi have created a lovely space, with everything you could need. So great to have a heated pool. Marcus's recommendations were so helpful-great car hire, restaurants, and practical help. We loved having the animals around, and feeding the chickens. Haria is a beautiful peaceful village -there are good restaurants in walking distance and a market on Saturday. Fantastic walks in this amazing landscape. Lanzarote has captivated us!
