Our stay in Casa Com Vista was as good on our second visit as it was the first. Away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal Algarve, but still close to all the lovely towns and villages such as  Tavira,  Loulé,  São Brás de Alportel and, of course, Faro. The Villa itself is wonderful, spacious and with a beautiful pool which we used several times each day. The view is just as amazing at night as it is by day. I would totally recommend Casa Com Vista as a relaxing, enjoyable and memorable Villa in which to spend a holiday.  And the picturesque village of Santa Barbara de Nexe is just special and adorable. I am looking forward to returning again.

Casa Com Vista

This was our second stay at Casa Com Vista and it lived up to all our expectations. Santa Barbara de Nexe is a quaint little village in the Portuguese municipality of Faro and Casa Com Vista is just a short and wonderful stroll from the village.  The Villa is situated on a hill overlooking the coast. It has a wonderful view where you can watch the flights arrive and leave in the distance but yet it is very quiet and peaceful. It is so relaxing to sit on the balcony overlooking the wonderful swimming pool and the beautiful view. The Villa itself is modern and very clean. I would not recommend something lightly unless it lived up to all my expectations, and I would certainly recommend Casa Com Vista.

Casa Com Vista is quite simply our happy place. Having been many times over the last 20 years it never disappoints, with facilities upgraded regularly too. It is a little piece of heaven, with everything you need to stay more than comfortably in a home away from home. The pool and sun terrace is beautiful and as the name would suggest there are stunning views from every angle. A true holiday escape awaits, you won’t be disappointed. 


Just enjoyed a 11 day holiday in Portugal staying once again in the magnificent Casa Com Vista property.
5* +, very homely property set in the hillside with superb views to savour. Beautifully presented in all aspects with a tremendous focus on hygiene, cleanliness and high standards in presentation. 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, great lounge with TV (many channels available incl English ) lovely dining area to provide a break in private comfort and luxury  Own Pool and sun beds so no need to get up at six in the morning to put out your towels. We LOVE IT

Casa Com Vista is a lovely well cared for villa.  The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.  As it is situated in the hillside you  have beautiful views as well as peace and quiet.  An ideal place to relax and unwind.


We sincerely enjoyed our stay at "Casa com Vista",  right from the beginning upon arrival where the keys were hanging in the small safe, until we left the villa and reversed the key procedure. The villa was in immaculate condition and well maintained also through the help of the managers and the cleaning woman , who came twice a week to clean ,make the beds and change linen. Although it was end November,  swimming in the pool was still possible.
Fernando - the manager - was a great help in solving a - self caused -  awkward problem with our car.
It was the third time that we stayed in the villa and can highly recommend anyone who wants to have a self-catering - quiet and comfortable stay with up to 6 persons, in the nice and well appointed villa with all amenities that one can wish for. Indeed the view, up to the sea,  is nice and virtually noiseless. Thanks to en extensive library with books and DVD's one never feels bored. TV and WIFI was working fine and rather fast. Only shopping or restaurant hopping remains to be done.
This time we stayed there for a fortnight.
When returning to the Algarve again we will certainly contact the owners to book a further stay.

We returned for yet another stay at Casa Com Vista in September knowing that we would have a very peaceful and relaxing visit, which was just what we wanted. The villa is very conveniently located, being only twenty or so minutes from Faro. As ever, the house was ready for our arrival and in perfect order, similarly, the gardens and the pool, which were a delight to be in during our stay. Eating out on the balcony or down by the pool with the bbq is always a delight, especially as the views down to the coast are fantastic. There are local restaurants, shops etc, but a car is essential unless you are very fit and good at walking up hills! We have already booked to return again for the fifth time! The owners are also very good to deal with.

 

We stayed as a family of 4 at Casa Com Vista returning for our third visit in August 2023 and the property was as welcoming as ever. The Villa is in an isolated position offering magnificent views of the Algarve coastline from Faro to the Spanish border. The views at day and night were a constant source of delight for the whole party – a glass or two of sangria on the balcony with that view cannot be beaten.
Inside the villa is very spacious and the air conditioning was a necessity with 38 degrees of heat.
We spent nearly all our time at the villa enjoying the pool, barbeques, the views and peace and tranquillity.
Great villa in a great location … we will be back !!!

Casa com Vista is a lovely property with all the amenities you could wish for. There are wonderful views to the coast from the private pool and dining area on the verandah. There is plenty of space both in the house and garden. It is always spotlessly clean and well maintained. Definitely recommended and we will return.


Your villa goes beyond our expectations and we enjoy our visits more and more.  It is like home from home BUT better.  You both look after the place with such love and care.  We are looking forward to June 2024 already when we will be more than happy to return.  In fact, I'm already looking at 2025.
