Aquamarine Villa is probably one of the best villa's in Pattaya. Villa Aquamarine is a beautiful designed villa with its ultra-modern design elements mingled with an Asiatic influence that immediately makes you feel this is something special.
Set within a peaceful and tranquil location on the outskirts of Na Jomtien, under a ten-minute drive of Jomtien Beach, you get the space and privacy you desire whilst still being within a swift drive of all the action. When first entering the grounds of Villa Aquamarine through the electronically controlled gates, you know you have arrived at somewhere really special.
The spacious driveway is big enough for several vehicles parking all at once. The villa is set over one level in a U-shape, which borders the private 28sqm swimming pool from all sides. Immediately upon entering the villa, you are greeted by a lovingly painted abstract canvas with dashes of yellows and oranges that lifts the vibrational state of the villa straight away.
To the right, you will see the plush lounge room - to the left is the open plan dining room and fully fitted western kitchen. All the bedrooms are situated down the left and right wings of the villa, all within footsteps of the pool. The garden surrounds the entirety of the villa, with meticulously trimmed lawns and picturesque ceramics adjoined by a mixture of lotus ponds and the private swimming pool.
At the far end of the garden amidst another seamlessly crafted lotus pond, you will find a unique bell, akin to the variety you will see within the grounds of a Buddhist temple. Another unique feature of the garden is that the waters in the swimming pool benefit from a copper ionized water filter system which makes the water so soft and also chlorine free.
This is the same system used for the water throughout the house, so drinking water from the tap is encouraged. With a few footsteps of the freshwater pool, the large covered terrace is the perfect place to sit and chill or take a spot of lunch. Here you will see not only tables and chairs, but also a settee.
To the left of the terrace, there is a large gas barbecue unit within close proximity to your own private bar equipped with bar stools. Just nip around the corner from the bar and you will see some changing rooms and a shower room. Villa Aquamarine is a once in a lifetime experience, although having said that we do get repeat guests.
The property is ideally geared towards families, groups of friends travelling together or it would be an especially great venue for a wedding or the reception the choices are limitless. With a selection of high-chairs and baby cots, this is a very family-friendly villa.
The first impression of the lounge is one of modern style and flair. Some villas of this style seem like museums where you feel awkward touching anything; however, Villa Aquamarine has a real homely and comfortable atmosphere devoid of any pretention whatsoever. The tall and elegant vaulted ceilings with wooden beams give the room real depth and allow soothing airflow. The tall patio windows not only provide views out towards the terrace and swimming pool, but also open to offer direct access. Everything in the lounge compliments each other item rolled into one concept. The large L-shape settee with grey fabric and a selection of purple and black cushions alongside the colour coordinated floor rug and foot stool provide a complete togetherness in the lounge. Other notable features such as the interesting painting paintings adorning the walls and the light shades that hand down from the ceilings directly above the coffee table are quite unique. The entertainment features include a large flat-screen TV with a surround sound system, DVD player and satellite TV. To keep you cool and refreshed, you have the option of two ceiling fans or air-conditioning.
The dining room is an integral part of the open kitchen arrangement. The wood/glass dining table is within footsteps of the kitchen and benefits from classy high-back chairs fitted with black fabrics.
The kitchen gleams just as much of the rest of Villa Aquamarine. The dcor, while still elegant, brings together stylish design features such as the vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and floor to ceiling windows that open up directly onto the terrace. The granite counter top is large and perfect for food preparation while also doubling as a breakfast bar with stools for informal dining. The choice of modern appliances include a refrigerator, a Smeg oven and grill, a toaster, microwave, four-ring stovetop and tea and coffee making facilities. Self-catering has never been more attractive than within this elegant western style kitchen.
There are five bedrooms in the villa, all of which have ensuite bathrooms, direct pool access, a choice of ceiling fans or air-conditioning, TVs, DVD players and international cable/satellite channels. The master bedroom is accessed via a long internal walkway from the lounge. This bedroom is the height of elegance with its golden Asian artworks at every turn. This bedroom has a king-size bed with a large wooden headboard that is positioned in front of the spacious wooden wardrobes and dressing mirror. There are two more bedrooms situated on the right hand side of the property, one of which has a double bed and the other has two single beds. Exactly opposite from these two bedrooms on the left side of the villa, you will find two more bedrooms with the same lay layout one with a double bed and the other with two single, although they have a slightly different colour scheme.
There are seven bathrooms within the entirety of the villa, five of which are ensuite, with the remaining two for guests one of which positioned next to the lounge (with no shower), and the next one behind the barbecue area in the changing rooms.
