The villa sleeps 8 in 2 kingsize and 2 twin rooms with air conditioning to all bedrooms and living room. Each bedroom has access to a terrace area and the living room opens onto a large covered patio, stepping down to the substantial patio surrounding the private pool providing lots of space for sunbathing and barbecues.
Internally, the villa is well equipped with modern stylish furnishings and contemporary kitchen with granite work surfaces and integral oven/hob, microwave and dishwasher as well as a large free standing US style refrigerator with iced water and ice dispenser.
From the private road, the secure door opens to a staircase rising to a large open patio and pool. A tiled walkway leads to the front door which opens to a spacious lobby with contemporary console table, mirror and coat stand. Doors lead off to a large cloakroom, under stair cupboard, living / dining room, kitchen.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are are accessed from a marble staircase leading from the lobby and all are furnished in contemporary style with large integral wardrobes providing plenty of storage along with additional chest of drawers. Two bedrooms have kingsize beds, one with a fully equipped ensuite bathroom, and french doors open onto a very spacious and private terrace with sunbeds. The remaining two bedrooms have twin beds and share access to a shower room with each bedroom having french doors opening onto a tiled terrace. There is also a fully equipped house bathroom. All towels and bedding are provided.
The living room is furnished with modern Danish leather sofas and the dining area has a contemporary glass table with 6 chairs and matching glass cabinets. There is a wood burning stove for use in the cooler weather. TV with DVD and VHS only. There are also two further portable TV/VHS for bedroom use.
French doors lead onto the covered patio with a further glass table and 8 outdoor dining chairs alongside 4 comfortable seats. An electric barbecue is also provided.
Sun beds and parasols are provided for enjoying the pool area and surrounding terraces.
A washing machine and outside sink is under the stairwell and there is another large tiled terrace area suitable for drying washing. An iron and ironing board are also provided.
The villa is located at the Southern edge of the pretty, traditional spanish village of Benalmadena Pueblo with its quaint streets and historic church.
The Pueblo has many bars and restaurants, all within walking distance of the villa, as well as supermarkets and gift shops. Although only 10 minutes drive from the lively Costa del Sol beaches and nightlife, the Pueblo provides an oasis of peace for the discerning visitor.
The house is fully air conditioned/heated with solar panels providing hot water. The property is furnished in a modern style and has porcelain tiles throughout. This is a lovely home and although situated in a quiet private road it is within 5 minutes walk of the quaint village of Benalmadena Pueblo with its many bars and restaurants. Please note the walk into the Pueblo is uphill and although short, may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Accessibility
The villa is on three levels and is therefore not suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
The villa is in a very secure and private location with access from the private road leading up to a tiled terrace and pool area. There are a further three terraces which are all tiled and have beautiful views over the coast from Malage to Fuengirola. There is also a shaded terrace overlooking the pool, with awning to provide further shade if required.
Benalmadena Pueblo
The Pueblo is a 5 minute walk away and with its local whitewashed walls and cobble stoned square, has many awards for its natural beauty. There are 2 supermarkets and a number of good restaurants and bistros. The pizzas from the local pizza restaurant, El Parador, are highly recommended.
Coast/Beach/Attractions
It is a 10 minute drive to the beaches of Benalmadena Costa and Torremuelle and a further 10 minutes to the 5 miles beach at Fuengirola. Although all along the coast there are beaches and waterfronts to explore. There is also a water park at Torremolinas, approximately 15 minutes drive away.
Within a 5 minute drive are the port of Benalmadena with numerous shops and restaurants and the Tivoli Gardens amusement park and cable car. The village of Mijas (10 minutes by car) is very pretty and a popular destination for lunch or shopping for souvenirs.
Further afield, a 30 minute drive into the hills is the town of Ronda immortalised by Ernest Hemingway in his book ‘For Whom the Bell Tolls’. The town boasts an historic bullring, numerous shops and a number of good bistros and restaurants, one or two overlooking the infamous gorge.
Ski-ing
The ski resort of Pradollano in the Sierra Nevada mountains is a 2 hour drive away. The resort is open from early December through to early April and is well served with excellent ski facilities and numerous runs. Due to its proximity, it is possible to have a day ski-ing and return to the villa for a dip in the pool at the end of the day!
Golf
The nearest golf course in the area is Torrequebrada golf course which is a 10 minutes drive away, 18 holes, par 72. Others in the immediate area are: Alhaurin Golf, 15 minutes drive, 18 holes, par ; La Cala 12 minute drive (Mijas Costa) 36 hole, par 72/73; La Quinta 20 minutes drive (Puerto Banus) 27 hole, par 72.
Travel
Malaga airport is a 20 minute drive away and taxi fares are usually between 25-30 euros.There is an excellent train service between Fuengirola and Malaga, with air conditioned trains running every half hour. The nearest station to the villa is Torremuelle (10 minutes drive) where it is possible to park. Return fares to Malaga (east bound) or Fuengirola (west bound) are under 5 euros.The ports of Algecerias and Gibralter are 1 hour drive away and ferries to Tangiers take approx. 30 minutes.
