We know we work hard for our money at work and know you do too. We do something very different to many other Villa and holiday companies. Our weekly rate is static across the whole year meaning we don't ask for more money across School holidays and other peak times such as Easter and Christmas. Our flat rate across the year is our unconditional commitment as we know how unfair these extra charges and higher prices are.

The Location
Far enough away from the tourist areas to ensure tranquillity yet the resorts & supermarkets are easily reached within a few minutes´ drive. In fact the ideal positioning of this villa means you are close enough to experience all that the Island has to offer in a very short time. A trip out to the many Lanzarote must-see tourist sites are also within easy reach from your Nazaret base with it’s location being central on the island. The beautiful Lag-O-Mar Museum House & Restaurant is a must visit and is within walking distance – a house built into a lava bubble formed around the same rocks from which it was built with natural labyrinths and caves, and bought In the early 1970s by actor Omar Sharif when he came to Lanzarote to film “The Mysterious Island”.
With Villa Shibui’s Private Pool you will be able to do all the splashing about your heart desires without leaving home, but for those days where you fancy feeling sand between your toes there are beautiful beaches also within a short drive away in Costa Teguise, Orzola, Arrieta, Famara, Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and even the Capital Arrecife.
And dining out is no problem too. Nazaret boasts 3 restaurants and for a 25 minute slow walk (or a 5 minute Taxi or Car drive) the old Capital of Teguise has quiet bars and restaurants tucked away in quaint cobbled streets. There is also a very busy and vibrant market in Teguise every Sunday. Again hop in the Car or order a reasonably priced Taxi and many more shops, restaurants and bars are close by in the family resort of Costa Teguise.
The airport is a 15-20 minute drive away

Taxi companies are reasonably priced in Lanzarote but to get a true feel of the island and for the larger Grocery Shop we find Car Hire is desirable and driving in Lanzarote is easy and not expensive.
We can reserve a hire car for you through our friends at Autos Martina, and really recommend this family business who offer no hidden charges, no hidden insurance, no hidden costs, they are dependable, and who we know to be trustworthy and reliable. They will meet & greet you at the airport to give you guidance and maps. All we need is your flight number and selected vehicle….all you do is meet them in arrivals and pay them directly with no waiting around, paperwork or queuing - EASY!
Geography
Lanzarote is located 11 kilometres (7 miles) north-east of Fuerteventura and just over 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) from Graciosa. The dimensions of the island are 60 kilometres (37 miles) from north to south and 25 kilometres (16 miles) from west to east. Lanzarote has 213 kilometres (132 miles) of coastline, of which 10 kilometres (6 miles) are sand, 16.5 kilometres (10 miles) are beach, and the remainder is rocky. Its landscape includes the mountain ranges of Famara (671 metres or 2,201 feet)[2] in the north and Ajaches (608 metres or 1,995 feet) to the south. South of the Famara massif is the El Jable desert, which separates Famara and Montañas del Fuego. The highest peak is Peñas del Chache, rising to 670 metres (2,200 feet) above sea level. The "Tunnel of Atlantis", the largest underwater volcanic tunnel in the world, is part of the Cueva de los Verdes lava tube.
Often called the "Island of Eternal Spring",Lanzarote has a subtropical-desert climate according to the Köppen climatic classification. The small amount of precipitation is mainly concentrated in the winter. Rainfall during summer is a rare phenomenon and several summers are completely dry without any precipitation. On average the island receives approximately 16 days of precipitation between December and February. Sometimes, the hot sirocco wind prevails, causing dry and dusty conditions across the island. Average precipitation in June and August is less than 0.5 millimetres (0.020 inches). It closely borders on a tropical climate, with winter means of 18 °C (64 °F) and summer means of 25 °C (77 °F).
Geology
Lanzarote is the easternmost island of the Canary Islands and has a volcanic origin. It was born through fiery eruptions and has solidified lava streams as well as extravagant rock formations. The island emerged about 15 million years ago as product of the Canary hotspot. The island, along with others, emerged after the breakup of the African and the American continental plates. The greatest recorded eruptions occurred between 1730 and 1736 in the area now designated Timanfaya National Park
