The ensemble of the white main building with the various annexes invites guests in a strikingly friendly fashion, after entering the cast-iron gate and approaching the well-kept and splendidly refurbished "Villa Amparo". The property itself is surrounded by an enchanting Mediterranean garden bursting with lush flowers, shrubberies, and older trees. The house is surrounded by a low natural stone wall. The villa is situated against the handsome backdrop of the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain range. The building is constructed such, that the protruding roof creates various outside seating options – to protect from the afternoon midsummer sun and from the colder evening temperatures. The mean terrace with long dining table opens into the generously sized pool, measuring over 60 m². On the other side, the pool landscape is bordered off by an open pool house that also houses an outside kitchen. The pool is additionally surrounded by delightful nature, turning the wrap-around sun terrace into a perfect spot to relax after a cool dip into the refreshing blue water.
The building's interior convinces by its tasteful furnishings – not too modern, no too rustic. A successful mix between the authentic Mallorcan style and a modern country house. If we take a look at the neat kitchen, we see that it is equipped with a kitchenette equipped with everything a vacationer could desire (coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher, a gas cooker embedded into the kitchen island with an extractor hood located above it, and much more). This large space, which also offers guests a round dining table, is thanks to the country-house character not just modern, but also extremely cosy with to the selection of furnishings and decorative items, such as a coffee house clock or the collection of copper pots of various sizes. The common areas are also very cosy – either in a group, or for a short moment alone with just the two of you. Take a seat on the couch built into the wall in front of the vintage fireplace and just watch the dancing flames, or have a good conversation. Another cast-iron oven is available in another part of the living area. The four bedrooms also exude hospitality! All rooms are comfortably sized and offer ample storage space for your holiday wardrobe. The bed frames are partially hand-made; the beds are of different sizes (partially French-sized with a width of 1.50 m, partially oversized at 2 x 1.10 m). The three cheerfully coloured bathrooms ensure that visitors do not have to queue for the showers in the morning A further two guest lavatories ensure complete privacy.

The Neighborhood:
The enchanting "Villa Amparo", with its natural charm, marvellously blends into its surroundings. In the end, it is located between Pollença, called the "Cultural Capital of the North" thanks to its countless galleries and handsome boutiques, and the almost antiquated coastal town of Port de Pollença. Both locations are perfect to go shopping or take a stroll. Placa Major in Pollença offers beautiful street cafés, shaded by sycamore trees, allowing you to relax and soak up the artistic atmosphere of the town. Thanks to its proximity to the Tramuntana mountains, Pollença is a unique starting point for day trips, either into the mountains or along the coast. You will search for mass tourism in vain here. The pretty sandy beaches of the island's north coast such as Can Cap de Bou, Platja de Port de Pollença, and Cala Sant Vicenc are marked by their shallow entry into the sea which makes these beaches, apart from their excellent water quality and fine sand, a favourite among families. If you want to see even more unspoilt landscapes, a visit to the Parc Natural S'Abufera is a must: This wetland is a nature reserve. However you like to spend your time on holiday, we are convinced that the charming villa "Son Amparo" will certainly contribute to your relaxation, and already now wish you a fantastic stay.
