The land of the sun has been attracting visitors to its enriched country for years upon years. This luxury estate sits in Gaucin, in the south of the country, by the coast of the Mediterranean. This humble village boasts superb views and historic towns and settings, the Moorish, Visigoth and Roman influence apparent throughout the region.
In and around Gaucín there is a selection of excellent restaurants offering typical Andalusian fare. In the centre of the town, visitors can sit and drink superb wine and or feast on tapas and paellas!
Step back in time with a walk up the hill to Castillo del Águila, the Roman fort. You can also check out the preserved ruins of the Arabic fortifications. You might also see some of the many varieties of eagles for which the Castle is named. Closer to home, the Fuente de Los Seis Caños (Fountain of the Six Spouts) built in 1628, is also well worth visiting.
Sunbathe and swim at the beaches of Sabinillas or Sotogrande- only 30 minutes away. Alternatively, get carried away kite-surfing in Tarifa - only one and a half hours away!
