As the beach is so near to the home, guests can make this their regular beach spot and enjoy early morning walks amongst the serenity of nature.
There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas dotted along this beach - just make sure you get there early, especially on weekends. This is also a great place to take a walk on, with your feet strolling along the pebbles. You will also have a great choice of restaurants to retreat to at the end of the day including authentic Greek tavernas. Visitors will be able to enjoy a pedalo ride across the clear waters – what a brilliant way to see the island!
Kassiopi Castle is a beautiful monument that overlooks the village. Located on top of the hill, the castle provides a great walk up to it. The castle is nestled in glorious greenery and is thought to be built during the 6th century when Emperor Mauricius reigned. Kassiopi was one of the three Byzantine-period castles that protected the island and boasts mesmerising vistas over the village. The walk around the castle’s ruins is a calming experience, allowing you to quietly contemplate life way back then.
