You can also enjoy those from inside – large sliding doors lead you seamlessly from the terrace to the spacious living area.
This cool and contemporary space has large sofas, television and an eye-catching wooden dining table, perfect for gathering together over some traditional Catalan fayre. The modern kitchen provides all you would need for the preparation, or, if you prefer, there’s a stone barbecue waiting for you out on the terrace.
Four bedrooms are set up in various configurations, offering lots of flexibility. You have the master with its king-size bed and en-suite, a further king-size in the next, a double or twin room, and a fourth bedroom with bunk beds. At full capacity, this villa sleeps eight guests.
Peacefully located, this villa is well-placed for visits to Begur and the many popular beaches which line this stretch of the coast. Sa Tuna, Sa Riera and Tamariu are all pleasant spots to explore, as is Begur itself – a pretty, whitewashed village where you can soak up the culture and try the local food and wine. Friendly and welcoming, it lies around 2km from the beach in the sight of a medieval castle.
Further afield, you shouldn’t miss out on visiting the old city of Girona, which rewards the 45-minute drive with fascinating heritage and architecture. Closer to the villa, Palafrugell is a sizeable town with street markets and bar terraces in abundance around its central Plaça Nova.

Begur sits inland just a short drive from Sa Riera beach. This sandy beach is large and wide, so, despite its popularity, tends not to feel overcrowed. The village itself cascades down a hillside, wacthed over by a runied medieval castle, and is full of Catalan charm. The whole family will be welcome at any of its many resturants found on the main square, and the local park has a lot to offer the children.
The village has an array of shops and markets to explore, and lies within reach of numerous secluded coves like Sa Tuna and Aiguablava. It's easy to reach towns like La Bisbal and Palafrugell from Begur - both are within a 20 minute drive - and you're also well placed for the regions larger cities (and airports) with Girona 45 minutes away and Barcelona around an hour from Begur. Among the other highlights of the area are the upmarket resorts of Llafranc, a popular haunt of some well known names, and, further south, the stunning botanical gardens of Cap Roig.
