The cottage is a beautiful 17th Century Thatched cottage in a quiet cul-de-sac at the heart of the attractive village of Burton Bradstock.
Burton Bradstock is 2.5 miles from Bridport on the route to Weymouth and central to the Jurassic Coast, World Heritage Site one of the most beautiful areas of the south west, with outstanding scenery in all directions along the coast and moving inland. Within a reasonable radius there are a number of places of natural or historical interest, as well as many family attractions.
Minnies is 10 minutes walk through the fields to Chesil Beach, and the acclaimed Hive Cafe. The beach and adjacent foreshore are clean and unspoilt and easily reached with a car park.
The cottage has been fully refurbished with modern services and comfortably sleeps 4.
Downstairs is open plan with the kitchen separated from the dining/sitting area by a marble topped bar. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped with washer/drier, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with icebox, cooker & hob.
The living area has comfortable easy chairs for four, around a beamed fireplace.
Also downstairs through a small lobby, is the bathroom with walk in shower, handbasin and WC (renovated for the 2020 season).
Upstairs is a double and twin bedded room. All linen including towels, is supplied. However holidaymakers should bring their own beach towels.
The cottage has its own wholly enclosed garden with lawn and patio facing south and it is quite secure for young children. Parking is on the street, close to the cottage.
Mobile phone networks vary in their effectiveness at the cottage.
Smoking is not permitted and pets cannot be accommodated.
Lets are from Friday to Friday, shorter bookings of at least 3 nights will be considered off season.
