Beautiful holiday cottage on Dartmoor in Devon which sleeps 4. Enjoy the beautiful flower gardens and all mod cons. Park in your own allocated space in a quiet cul de sac in town.
Bossell Cottage is an oasis of peace and quiet. It is built within the grounds of a former hotel and the drive has become our cul de sac. The cottage is surrounded by trees and bushes and has a secluded flower garden with ratan garden furniture at the back. It also has its own off-road parking space and four guest parking spaces. It is in the centre of Buckfastleigh.
A bottle of wine will be waiting for you to wish you a happy holiday. The cottage is very comfortable and has all the basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, soap, books, games, guides, maps etc. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday: unlimited business broadband wifi, Netflix, Freeview, Sky tv, washing machine, dish washer, hub with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, bath and shower.
We will be waiting for you with the keys. I have lived in Devon for 29 years. I am passionate about promoting our beautiful county and am on Facebook as "Devon Hols".
Bossell Cottage is tucked away but is still very central. Opposite our road is the open-air heated swimming pool, play area and bus station. Next to Bossell Cottage is the bowls, tennis and football club. A 3-minute walk will take you to the centre of town with its shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, tea room, supermarket and chemist's. Check out Buckfast Abbey, the South Devon Railway with its steam trains and the Otter and Butterfly Sanctuary. They are all in walking distance. The river Dart runs through the town which is a favourite spot for wild canoeing. You can go hiking and horse riding on Dartmoor. There are many golf resorts and on the English Riviera you can enjoy all types of watersport.
Bossell Cottage is on the southern edge of Dartmoor next to the A38. Within 20 minutes you are in the university city of Exeter, Britain's ocean city Plymouth and the beaches of the English Riviera.
