It has a double bedroom, with a queen sized bed and the bedroom door is lockable. The bathroom has a shower, a toilet and washbasin, you also have use of the ground floor toilet. The large, bright lounge area has a sofa, TV and a breakfast bar.. The kitchen area offers a fridge, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker/grill, 2 ring electric hob and a kettle, and to get you started, you’ll receive a free welcome pack. You’ll also have the use of our washing machine during your stay. There’s no need to bring towels including beach towels, as we have those for you. The Penthouse has a good-sized sunny terrace with mountain views, where you can sit and watch the sunrise with your morning coffee or sit and chill with an evening glass of wine. You are very welcome to join us, along with our cat and dog, (as seen in the photos) in our garden for a chat, or use the plunge pool, which will be open until late should you decide to take an evening dip with a cocktail, (we dont include cocktails, but we do include plastic glasses😁). Or maybe you’ll prefer to sit in one of the many shady seating areas in the garden reading a book. If we can be of any help, just ask. We’re usually around to answer questions, sort tours, taxis and transfers.
During your stay, there are lots of activities available. Spend a relaxing day sailing around the bays of the gulf of Fethiye. Explore islands and swim in the azure waters. Enjoy a delicious lunch cooked on board. Maybe enjoy a romantic sunset boat tour with dinner included. Watch the sunset or take a twilight dip in the warm waters. Calis water taxi is a great way to travel for an evening out in Fethiye. The scenic trip out of the canal to the sea takes 30 minutes. Take in the views of the park and Fethiye from a different angle. A trip on the cable car is a must. You’ll get the best views of the Blue Lagoon from the top of Babadag, maybe dine there whilst watching the paragliders take off. For adrenalin junkies, why not be the one leaping off Babadag? Take a once in a lifetime experience with a tandem pilot from the gentle slope of the mountain. The flight gives you breathtaking views of Oludeniz and Hisaronu. Sit back whilst your pilot does all the hard work and enjoy the experience or for a fun-filled day, rafting at Saklikent Gorge or along the Dalaman river, takes you through creeks, canyons and rapids, especially for those of you of an adventurous spirit. Why not take a sunset horse ride through the forest and along the beach, where your horse will take you into the sea. A memory that will remain with you forever. Calis is known not only for its fabulous sunsets but also for its cooling summer breeze, so for those of you who fancy giving kite surfing or wind surfing a go, this is the place to be, though if you’re anything like us, you’ll prefer to sit with a drink and watch the kite surfers put on their show of skills. Do you fancy a muddy, fun packed day, deep in the forest with no traffic and no roads? Then head out on a quad bike safari, a fun day filled with hidden surprises, or for those of you looking for a more relaxing time, a Turkish bath must be on your wish list. Lying on warm marble slabs, you’ll get the best detox, a deep-thorough scrub and a soothing soap massage. If markets are your thing, Calis has an excellent one on a Sunday. Grab your genuine fake clothes, trainers and bags. When you’re all shopped out, sit at one of the many market cafes and enjoy a gozleme, cay or fruit juice and watch the world go by. Alternatively, head into Fethiye for the larger market which is held every Tuesday.
Calis is flat and ideal for walking and cycling. A cycle path runs from Calis all the way into the bustling town of Fethiye with its bazaars, old town, shops and charming restaurants. The path takes you through the award-winning Sehit Fethi Bey Park and along the seafront with its huge array of bars and restaurants. The path ends in the harbour in Fethiye, where you can sit and enjoy a well-earned drink.
For those of you wanting to visit during the winter months, when the sun still shines but there is snow on the mountains, Calis takes on a different feel. The bustle of tourists has gone and a slower, relaxed pace kicks in. Yerguzler Caddesi, a 10-minute walk away, remains open all year round. Here you’ll find supermarkets, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and a gym. Several restaurants on Calis beach front remain open, who have fire pits burning during the cold evenings, giving it a whole new atmosphere. It’s our favourite time of year, when the intense summer heat has gone, and we can go for long walks with the rambling group to enjoy the surrounding countryside and wildlife.
