The villa is our family holiday home since buying the property in 2001. We then spent 10 years improving it to the standard we would expect, having the pool built etc. but it is not run as a business, just to help us defray some of our costs. The basic rule is there are no rules, just chill out and relax. Hope you enjoy the place as much as we do. We live near Ipswich in the UK, so you will have total access to the entire property. Our nearest neighbours are local Spanish farmers. Lara our local manager, who is fluent in Spanish and English having moved to Iznate aged 11 is always available should you have any issues.

Hola, We are Lis and Paul. The moment we saw Casa Las Brisas we fell in love with it and knew this would be our forever home. We had many happy years in this magnificent place until working conditions obliged us to move to Malaga. After that we used las Brisas as our weekend home but it is a shame that such a beautiful house in such a beautiful place is so empty. That is why we have decided to share our love for the house and unique surroundings with lovely guests from all over the world. Hello, my name is Beli. Together with my husband Antonio and my children, I run an ice cream parlour in Mijas. We built El Deseo single-handedly on a beautifully located piece of building land we inherited from my husband's father. Until recently, it was our place to relax whenever we had a day off, but now that our two sons are taking over the business more and more, we have bought a camper van and are trying to enjoy it as much as possible and discover new parts of Spain. Delighted to make your acquaintance. I'm Marie-José and Villa El Lucero has always served as a weekend retreat for my son, husband, and me. We've experienced splendid moments there, truly disconnecting and unwinding amidst nature's embrace. Now that our son is an adult leading his own life, and Paco and I have developed a fondness for exploring Spain in our camper, we've decided not to let the house remain unoccupied too often. I live very happily with my wife, Nalini, in Santa Maria Del Cerro, near the village of Villanueva De La Concepcion. I was teaching in England, and Nalini was an HMI, when this life journey began for us townies in 1999. We bought land, a green field plot on a hillside, and decided where to site our house on the land, and what it would be like. Later we also bought two rental properties, to realise the dream of working for ourselves in our chosen environment. Without intruding on our guests' privacy, we like to impart our enthusiasm for what we value and appreciate in our life here in rural Andalucia. We try to imbibe the culture of this people, inasmuch as a foreigner can gain an insight. For the most part we like the local people we meet for their warmth, their self-possession, and their unpretentious charm. To relax I explore the villages, towns, cities and countryside of Spain. I enjoy eating out with friends and family. We entertain our children and grandchildren here. The beauty of nature and the climate encourage, and enable us, to spend time working and relaxing outdoors. Life here, which is so different from what we were used to in England, continues to please and satisfy us: we are still “on holiday” every day. Nalini is a practising artist, who is inspired as a result of what she experiences here in Andalucia. When I visit England, I am conscious of missing what I leave behind here, such as the bright light and space – as in wide open spaces, as in enough space to park ten cars; as in having space in the day to talk to my neighbours. Here I relax, and enjoy the simple pleasures of driving into the village, the first view of the Torcal a few minutes into the journey, or going round the Torcal, and later the view of the castle on the approach to Antequera. Here, I, the boy from the East End of London, know that I have come a long way, as I gaze across the swimming pool at distant mountains, but I also enjoy days out with family and friends down on the coast.

Hi, my name is Jose (Joseph in English) and my wife is Maria. We live in Coin, Malaga and Villa Panoramica is in Guaro, about an 8 minute drive from Coin. We use the Villa in the winter and rent it out the rest of the year. Everyone finds it for its relaxing surroundings and its great location at the start of Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park.

Jonathan Howard has a 3 bedroom village house in Saleres, Spain.

Our names are Robert and Ellen and we have been hosting on various platforms since June 2008. We came to the area on holiday, fell in love with it and bought an apartment 😂 Our guests will receive lots of information about the area before their holiday and although we won`t personally be on site during their stay in our apartment we will always be available to contact if they need any advice or help during their trip. We know the area very well and are happy to advise on attractions, activities, places to visit, bars and restaurants etc.
