5 bedroom Empuriabrava holiday villa rental with private pool

The house is in perfect condition. It is ideal to spend a few days on vacation with your pool and the beach at 15 minutes. Site to leave 3 or 4 cars new materials. They leave towels. The only thing to highlight bad is that the first day we failed a little electricity but they repaired immediately. I would also highlight that there is a lack of detergent for the dishes or to leave a couple of tablets for the dishwasher.

A very nice stay in this house, spacious at wish for a family of 5. Very well equipped, clean, consistent with the description. The pool is great, big and well maintained. Only one small flat no air conditioning and no curtain or shutter in the living room to reduce the heat in the house. If this is not it, top !!!

Empuriabrava is one of the more hidden gems of the Costa Brava, bordering the resorts of Roses, Figueres and Girona. A contrast to its more traditional neighbours, this luxury location is nicknamed 'the Venice of the Costa Brava', boasting 24km of canals and 5,000 private jetties, home to everything from small fishing boats to the cruise ships. At just 40 years old, this younger, stylish side to Spain caters to those looking for a sophisticated escape away from the more commercial tourist spots. Think colourful waterfront houses, award-winning beaches, water sports and delicious Catalan seafood restaurants.

Neighbouring the towns of Roses and Figueres in Girona Province, Empuriabrava's beaches, canals and network of waterways provide perfect opportunities for sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and canoeing. The best way to explore this beautiful neighbourhood is by renting a boat, while the cool and dry northeasterly wind provides a welcome relief from the midday heat. Renting a bicycle is another great way to get around, with plenty of routes to choose from. In the centre of town discover upmarket shops and boutiques in the main boulevard Carrer Port Salins. If unwinding by the beach is more your thing, there are three to choose from, with the main beach, Platja Empuriabrava along the marina boasting 1.5km of golden sand, a children's playground, sports courts and access to parking.

For a change of scenery, Aiguamolls de l'empordà wetland reserve is home to over 300 species of bird, with its exotic flora and fauna and local wildlife, from herds of deer to beautiful white horses. Unlike Emuriabrava which is one of the youngest resorts in the Costa Brava, Castello d’Empúries is steeped in history. Basílica de Santa Maria de Castelló d'Empúries is the second largest building in the Costa Brava and a must see for its elaborate Gothic architecture. Learn about one of Spain's most influential painters in Figueres, just 12km away, where Salvador Dalí was born and now lies the Dalí Theatre and Museum. Or why not take a day trip to Girona, about an hour's drive from Empuriabrava. For families, little ones will enjoy learning about the local wildlife at Butterfly Park, or practicing their swing at Minigolf Carmansó, before the adults have a go at Golf Castello.
