1. Villa Yakamoz

Villa Yakamoz in Kalkan has incredible views from its heated infinity pool, which also boasts massage jets. The villa was designed to maximise the breath-taking views from its hillside location. It sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. A car is recommended for this villa although the centre of Kalkan is only a 10 minute walk away, but it’s down a steep hill! Kalkan itself is one of the most beautiful towns on the Lycean coast, with historic sites, great beaches and lots of water sports.

2. Villa Carlette

Villa Carlette’s owner, Lenette, calls this her “little piece of heaven”. It’s a 6-person villa with a large walled garden and private pool set in the most gorgeous surroundings. It’s just a few minutes to the heart of the village of Uzumlu which is still very much the real Turkey, including a traditional bakery, market, and local weavers, as well as restaurants and bars. You can travel to Fethiye easily on the regular local dolmus (bus) service.

3. Villa D'Louca

Villa D’Louca is set in enormous gardens, planted with pomegranate trees, in Dalyan. The centre of town is just 20 minutes’ walk away, or a very cheap taxi ride, but there are restaurants within a few hundred metres from the villa itself. The beautiful Iztuzu Beach, which forms a barrier between the Dalyan delta and the Mediterranean sea and is more commonly known as Turtle Beach, is just 6 miles away. The villa itself sleeps 6 and has a private pool, air conditioning and Wifi.

Rebecca stayed in April 2023 and said “This villa is set in a stunning area, we would highly recommend this area for restaurants, markets and the boat trips were really special, taking in rivers, the sea, and beautiful unspoilt coves and pristine beaches - a hidden gem!”

4. Villa in Kayakoy

This stunning villa in Kayakoy, Fethiye sleeps up to 7. The private garden is a gorgeous sun-trap – you’ll appreciate the private pool to cool off in, as well as the air conditioning throughout the villa. It’s just a 10 minutes walk to the must-see “abandoned village” of Kayaköy and a short trip to the stunning blue lagoon of Ölüdeniz, or the idyllic port city of Fethiye.

5. Villa Jamara

Villa Jamara is a luxurious 4 bedroom (all with en-suite) villa. It’s in a tranquil area but it’ll only take you five minutes to walk to the quayside of Dalyan, the restaurants and the shops. The mountain views from the garden are spectacular; enjoy relaxing on the sunloungers, in the pool, around the outside dining area or in the traditional köşk with its sumptuous cushions.
