Situated on a headland with panoramic sea views, this imposing former sea captains’ house has direct access to a sandy beach and is within walking distance of Locquirec, a small and attractive fishing village. Built towards the end of the 18th Century this magnificent property is situated between the Pink Granite Coast and the Cote Sauvage on a beautiful and dramatic stretch of the north Brittany coastline, 45 minutes’ drive from Roscoff and two hours from St Malo.
This fantastic Breton house is set within partially enclosed grounds and just 150m from a wide sandy beach when the tide is out and about 20m at high tide. There are plenty of other beaches to explore including secluded coves accessible via the impressive coastal path.
Just a stone's throw away is the small seaside resort and fishing port of Locquirec, a traditional Breton village based around its harbour, with creperies, restaurants and art gallery on the seafront. The historic market towns of Morlaix and Lannion are within 30 minutes’ drive. A little further afield, the Pink Granite Coast is an incredible 30 km stretch of coastline with a beguiling mix of pink tinged rocks, turquoise sea and white sandy beaches. To the west can be found the fascinating Abers, the Breton fjords, deep channels in the landscape that are ever-changing according to the tide.
