3 bedroom Benalmádena holiday villa rental with private pool
This is a really great villa in a good location with the best pool I've ever encountered at a holiday let. Communication was good, the owners were very flexible and the place was spotlessly clean. It's clear that in it's time, this had been a very grand property and whilst it remains a great place to holiday with everything you could ever need, it would benefit from a bit of updating in places. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to book again and I would recommend the villa to anyone.

3 bedroom holiday villa in Nerja, Costa del Sol, with private pool
Villa was very spacious and loved the location next to the farm. Short drive to Nerja Town and the old town which was beautiful. You definitely need a car. Pool was large and very deep, no shallow end so would be a problem for small children. Villa very tired and very dated. Sunbeds were old and grubby and the chairs on the terrace needed repairing!! The appliances in the kitchen weren't great. The toaster got really hot on the outside, enough to give a nasty burn and The drip through coffee machine leaked. Oven good as was the hob and freezer enough crockery and cutlery but no sharp knives. The double bed was a few steps up from a camp bed and the spare pillows were stained. Bathrooms so dated. We accepted it for what it was and didn't let it stop us having a great time, but this Villa really needs some money spent on it.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at villa damar. It was so tranquil and peaceful by the pool. The sound of birdsong all day was a dream. The villa ,pool and grounds was a fabulous size . Plenty of bloomage. Although there is work needed on the place and tired in parts you can see that the owners are attempting to put things right and of course takes time. The Gardner never came in our 2 week stay but the pool man came twice and was very good and helped us on the area. The cleaner was lovely too. The hairdryer was burnt out on arrival and was replaced no problem and we'd like to thank Lucas for helping us with the WiFi. Ur a star 🌟 Estapona itself was the best place we've stayed and would definitely be back. 😆

3 bedroom Benalmádena holiday villa rental with private pool
Very spacious villa and very well equipped, had everything we needed. Lovely outside area, garden was so nice and good swimming pool. We didn't hire a car but there was a great cheap, regular bus service just at the top of our road, which took us into town and the harbour. Restaurants were about 10- 15 mins walk, though one we went to was a bit over priced for the quality of food. (Hidema) Lidl just a short walk away and was so cheap so we tended to cook at the villa on most days and sit on the lovely terrace. The only downfall was it was uphill around the area, and proved we wasn't as fit as we thought lol. But it does show this in details. The hosts were really helpful and even drove us to the airport as we had an early flight home.

A wonderful easy family stay at Casa Leo. The photos online do not do the property justice. It is far nicer and picturesque than the online photos show. Would highly recommend a car. Restaurants, bars and shops are not easy walking distance in the hight of summer on a steep hill. Don’t let this put you off book and enjoy - highly recommended!

4 bedroom villa to rent in Marbella, Costa del Sol
Lovely stay in large villa with lovely garden and pool. House large and spacious and as described on site. Would have expected given other villas that we have stayed in and late flight times and travelling with young children that a welcome pack with basics were in the house. No black bags for garbage or salt/ pepper, etc in the house so food shop essential as soon as arrive. Very built up house area and although lovely you definitely require a car as most roads have no pavements and long walk to first shop on the road. Any issues we had dealt with straight away, no bbq utensils and were received next day. Organised taxis from airport which was very handy too.

Travel guide

Villas for rent in the Costa del Sol

Spain's Costa del Sol, otherwise known as ‘The Sunshine Coast’, is without doubt one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Belonging to Malaga Province, in the southern part of the Iberian peninsula, it is famous for its subtropical climate and Mediterranean charm. Averaging at 320 days of annual sunshine, this coastal paradise boasts 160km of fine sand beaches, ranging from luxury lounging spots to quiet coves. Inland, discover a varied landscape dotted with whitewashed towns, cliffs, ravines and exotic flora and fauna. From the UNESCO World heritage Site and otherworldly caves of Nerja to the coastal glamour of Marbella, this colourful region of Spain’s south is one of the most popular tourist destinations - and for good reason!

Whether you stay in one of our luxury beachfront villas with a private pool or spacious, family-friendly villas in the heart of the Costa del Sol, you’ll get to experience the best that this slice of coastal heaven has to offer, with a Clickstay home from home. Discover why the Costa del Sol represents the true essence of Spanish culture and explore a world of colourful fiestas, world-class beaches, opera and tapas, where the Andalucian atmosphere can be felt in the winding, cobbled lanes and alfresco restaurants. The Costa del Sol is also an ideal location for families, with its water worlds, theme parks and beaches with plenty of facilities.

The Costa del Sol offers plenty for families, with theme and water parks galore. Make a splash at Mijas Water Park and Aqualand Torremolinos, the most famous in Spain, boasting amazing slides and water shutes, wave pools and plenty of play islands. Tivoli World in Benalmádena is the largest theme park in the Costa del Sol and Bioparc Fuengirola is home to over 200 species of wildlife, with a recreated jungle zone and modern facilities. Fly over the beaches of Marbella with a flyboard at Funny Beach, or for a day of peace and tranquility head to Benalmádena Butterfly Park built in the style of a Thai temple, with its waterfalls and over 1,500 exotic species of butterfly.

Holiday alongside the rich and famous in glamorous Marbella, with its luxury yachts, exclusive nightclubs and stunning backdrop of the Sierra Blanca mountains, or get your cultural hit in vibrant Malaga, with its art museums and festivals. Or perhaps you’ll be lured by pretty, hilltop Mijas, with its views of North Africa in the distance. Maybe the Andalucian appeal and ritzy marina of family-friendly Benalmádena appeals to you. Don’t overlook Torremolinos, now a thriving Mediterranean resort town at the foot of the Mijas mountains, a world away from its tacky '70s reputation. But if you’re looking for the perfect mix of city and seaside charm, then Estepona and Nerja are for you.

Boasting over 120 beaches, the Costa del Sol stretches all the way from the Strait of Gibraltar to Granada Province, where it borders the Costa Tropical. Its 161 kilometres of sand is just as famous for its nightlife as it is for its beaches and golf courses. If the charming live music, bars and pubs of Nerja and Mijas aren’t enough, follow the party crowd at Marbella’s world-famous Puerto Banús. Popular with the young free and single are Malaga and Torremolinos, with their lively cosmopolitan atmosphere. Families will appreciate the quieter resorts of Fuengirola and Mijas, with plenty of authentic restaurants, flamenco shows and of course, their charming old towns.

The beaches of the Costa del Sol offer something for everybody, whether you want a lively urban beach to people watch, secluded swimming bay, water sports hub or pristine, family-friendly Blue Flag spot to relax on. With long hot summers blending into the mildest of winters, they are there to enjoy year-round. Our holiday rentals in the Costa del Sol put you at the heart of it all. Malaga Airport is the main transit hub but there are three other airports within driving distance of the Costa del Sol; Gibraltar (70km south), Granada (191km north) and Jerez (177km east), which all offer direct flights from the UK, with taxi, bus and car hire services available.
