How quickly will my booking be accepted?

Instant booking refers to properties where the calendar is kept up-to-date at all times. This means you can book and pay for a property without having to wait for confirmation from the owner – so the booking is accepted straightaway.

Occasionally a property which is advertised as instant booking will need confirmation from the owner. You will be alerted to this at the checkout. No payment will be required until the owner has confirmed the booking.

For non-instant bookings, owners generally respond to a booking request within a day; payment cannot be made until the owner has confirmed the booking.

If you are in a hurry to find out whether your booking is going to be accepted you can always contact the owner to encourage them to respond. To do this, you can message them from your Clickstay account, under the options for your booking request, or you can select "contact owner" or "contact agent" from the property page
