Refunds
Your booking contract will tell you whether you are due a refund in the event of a booking cancellation. You can find out more about booking cancellations here.
Contractual refunds will be automatically processed through the payment method you used when you made the booking. If the card you made the original payment on has expired, the refund will be attempted to your new card; if there are any issues with this you’ll get an email explaining what steps to take to make sure you receive the refund.
If you are waiting for your Refundable Breakage Deposit to be refunded, please note that the owner has up to 10 days after your booking finishes to check the property, and then if the owner does not make a claim it will be automatically refunded to you. Depending on your bank, this may take another 5-10 working days to appear in your account. It will be refunded to the same card that you paid with.
