Extras
There are 2 types of extras:
Compulsory extras: these are charges that some owners add to their property which always apply to every booking. These often include things like cleaning charges, and may be based on the number of people in your group, or length of stay.
Optional extras: owners may offer things that you can choose to add to your booking, that they will then charge for – but you aren’t obliged to add them. You’ll get the choice to add these when you start to make your booking. Common optional extras are things like pool heating, airport transfers, a cot for your baby, etc.
How do I pay for extras?
Extras are either:
- paid with booking: you pay for the extra at the same time as the rest of the booking, through Clickstay, or
- paid locally: you pay once you are on holiday, usually on arrival at the property, to the person that welcomes you to the accommodation, or sometimes to a property manager that might visit during your stay.
If you are unsure, contact the owner or agent you’ve booked with before you travel to confirm details of how to pay.
The details of when the extra will be paid can be found on the property page under the calendar details, and are also shown on the cost breakdown on the booking pages.
